Breakfast were most unusual but perhaps not for Mexico

This is my second time staying here, and this time I brought my mother with me. She LOVED her stay. The house is beautifully decorate, the pool is heated, everything was immaculate, the breakfast filling and delicious, and the service very warm and friendly. Plus - free parking! Beautiful views, gorgeous garden, and screens on the windows. Highly recommended.

There is really not much I can say that is not to like! Sometimes, the dogs from neighboring houses would bark in the middle of the night. I would just shut my windows and that took care of that issue. But that's only because my room was closest to the street also. I wear earplugs normally, so it doesn't phase me.

Authentic Clean Comfort Staff Convenient location

The hotel is IMMACULATE. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept in pristine condition, the pool is heated, and it is such a nice, relaxing environment. We were able to extend out checkout to 3pm by paying a fixed rate of 200 pesos per hour (after the 12pm checkout time). This was great for us as we could hang out by the pool on our last day! I'll definitely return with my mother and stepfather in a couple months.

Our only minor hiccup was when we had purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony of the room. There was a 300 peso charge to open the bottle and provide glassware for the wine. That was more than what we paid for the bottle!

The proprietor greeted us and was around to make sure our stay was being pleasant. Breakfast was very well served. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The proprietor is in charge of processing credit card payments and she may not always be around. We had to wait for about 30 mins to do the check-out.

Room was clean, the park and pool are beautiful and the common grounds nicely decorated. The service was friendly and the food tasteful. Good place for a romantic getaway.

Covid restrictions had to wear mask in the lobby and get sprayed upon entering.

What a gorgeous setting! I loved the wooden decor and all the attention to detail with artworks, flowers and home furnishings which really gave it a personal, homely yet upmarket feel. The breakfast was spectacular! Everything including the scones and jam were homemade and presented beautifully. Senora Marcela was so sweet and attentive to all our needs. You felt immediately at home and pampered. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back to this quaint little town and the beautiful Casa del Angel:)

It was a little difficult to know where the entrance was when we first arrived. Perhaps a prior notice as what to expect and how to ring the gate bell (once discovered). When the hotel is busy (only on our afternoon) it can take a little while to get your order at the restaurant but it's so pretty with wonderful views you could easily take a book to read or postcards to write while you wait.

AMAZING place ! The view on the mountains is unforgettable, swimming in from of it is magic ! The whole house and the rooms are beautiful and furnished with great taste. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The staff is incredible, extremely nice and helpful. They can arrange for you massages and yoga class in the garden. A wonderful place !
