Best views, most comfortable beds! showers were amazing, awesome braai area, inside fireplace, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved the peace and quiet of the Karroo

Most beautiful and relaxing stay. Beautiful cozy Karoo cottage. Very helpfull host just a whatsapp away. Friendliest cleaning lady came to greet us with freshly baked roosterkoek. Well done on this exstra final touch. 3 farm dogs came to say hallo everyday. Wonderful clear sky for star gazing at night. Enjoyed the cozy fire inside the cottage later in the evenings. Will definitely book again. Hope to use the pool in warmer weather as our 2 days was not as hot to cool of.

Beautiful rustic farm stay in renovated cottage. Very comfortable bed. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Stunning scenery all around. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

The perfect getaway from city life and escape into the wild. The cottage is on a working farm owned by a lovely British couple that are in the process of upgrading it and creating more cottages. The rooms offer a rustic yet luxurious vintage African explorer aesthetic, and have every comfort available. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms and showers, all windows have insect nets, both rooms have air conditioning, and the kitchen has a gas stove and kettle for when loadshedding strikes. The cottage also comes with a potjie and indoor fireplace as well as outdoor Braai area, table, and private pool with a jacuzzi function. And the property has a resident purebred ridgeback who has the most gentle nature and is very friendly.

The insects but unfortunately that comes with the territory of farm life. There isn’t a single critique I have of this property. If I could have stayed for more nights I would have.

Everything was perfect. From the ambience to cleanliness. We have been blessed to travel the world and this place had everything you needed. We will be back for a longer stay.

Didn't know the road was challenging until we got the directions. Maybe a good idea to mention that you need a car with a high ground clearance before booking is confirmed.

The location is desolate in the best way. The adventure to get there is rewarded with incredible sunsets and sunrises, as well as feeling of being alone with nature. Inside is pure luxury. Everything is beautiful and thought about. Wonderfull beds, an amazing bathroom and a lovely pool. Make sure you bring everything you need and enjoy

We actually stayed in the new Sunbird cottage, which is a short walk from the main house on a lovely farm. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. It's very private, comfortable and offers all the necessary amenities, including a gas stove & oven. There is undercover parking available. Our host was very welcoming.

Beautiful location if you are after peace and quiet and farm life. This is a working farm and we were fortunate to experience some of the activities happening of the farm. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.
