Situé à Nags Head, ce attractif cottage pour 385 € par nuit est un génial option pour votre prochain voyage Oreiller de la sirène a été présenté dans l'édition automne 2015 de My Outer Banks Accueil. M'a contacté au sujet d'un article intitulé "La réduction des effectifs avec charme". Nous sommes assez chanceux pour être en donnant du pli central. Aussi, mon chalet a été présenté dans le rapport annuel "Parade of Homes" parrainé par l'Association des constructeurs d'habitations Outer Banks. Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que nous avons obtenu le «Prix d'excellence constructeurs" par les juges et avec plus de 900 visiteurs par le biais de la maison nous avons voté "Choice Award populaire".
Cottage bénéficie d'un style classique Nags Head avec des équipements modernes. TV couleur, câble, Internet et une station d'accueil. Cuisine avec cuisinière électrique, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur et lave-vaisselle entièrement équipée. Laveuse / sécheuse. Handicap accessible chambre des maîtres et salle de bain disposent d'une grande douche à l'italienne et double vasque avec déploiement sous la fonctionnalité pour les fauteuils roulants. A l'étage 2 chambres et une salle de bain avec double lavabo. Rampes avant et arrière d'un accès facile. Piscine privée dans le sol dans la cour clôturée. Planches Cornhole sont fournis.

This house is a treasure- it was lovely and bright and clean and had everything we needed for our weeklong family stay! Cindy was so kind and responsive and flexible. The location was perfect- we could walk most places!- and the proximity to the disabled-accessible beach access was ideal. We have a kiddo in a wheelchair, so the house was so convenient for us, but really it would be great for anyone who doesn’t like a lot of stairs and extra comfy shower space. Truly can’t say enough about how perfect this place is- and already can’t wait to go back next year! Thank you, Cindy!

The Mermaid’s Pillow was in a great location, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and CLEAN! Our family truly enjoyed our vacation. The pool and short walk to the beach are always high on our list of must-haves, and this cottage delivered! If we are traveling with a smaller group again in the future, I’d definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Hate to spread the word but this is a great house! Solid build, open floorplan, *quiet* indoors (except the occasional truck), fully stocked kitchen, and accessible bedroom & bath on 1st floor. Great little pool in back for lounging & cooling off. Wheelchair ramps on both front & back of house. A little tight in the turns but manageable. Owner is nearby and was so helpful with questions. We will certainly rent again, hopefully for a longer visit!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Mermaid’s Pillow. We have large family of 5 kids (ages 17,16,14, 4 and 1.5 years old). The house was beautifully decorated and was great. It was a perfect location within walking distance to the beach, park, pier, ice cream and mini golf. We also really enjoyed the private pool. Anything else you might need is a short drive away. Cindy was wonderful to work with and responded quickly with any questions that we had. We made some wonderful memories in the OBX and would definitely return! Our only complaint is we had to leave and go home :)

We anxiously awaited our trip for a year before arrival. It did not disappoint. While the weather was pretty awful this gem of a cottage made it still a wonderful vacation. It was so clean, with lots of conveniences and space to spread out. I’ve been vacationing in OBX for decades in a variety of homes and this was by far my favorite.

We rent this beautiful beach house every year for a reason. The house is well appointed, well stocked, and well kept. Cindy is a thoughtful host and super responsive. The dip pool, outdoor furniture and outdoor shower make spending time at the house as much of a pleasure as the beach across the street. The location is close to everything Nags head has to offer. We love The Mermaid’s Pillow and will be back again next year. Thanks Cindy!

The house is exactly as advertised. Barely a 4-minute walk to the beach. I walked my cup of coffee down to the sunrise every morning. Centrally located to visit lighthouses, Pea Island, The Wright Brothers Memorial…. Also close to great restaurants (AND the kitchen is fully equipped), grocery stores, a great kids park…. We truly had a great time and will be back! House was just right for our beach getaway.

This is hands down our favorite time of the year...when we get to stay as a family in this beautiful home! The location is perfect and convenient to get everywhere we need to go, the space is clean, sleek, and beautiful! This year, we were able to celebrate Easter as a family and prepare a wonderful meal with all the kitchen had to offer. Thank you so much, Cindy for your hospitality...we look forward to next year!!

It was difficult finding an ADA property and this was exactly what we needed. My wife is an ALS patient and being FULLY handicap accessible was extremely helpful. Cindy was more than just a gracious hostess; she went above and beyond by making this an enjoyable trip for my wife. I highly recommend this property for anyone that may be caring for a loved one with special needs.

What a delight it was to stay at this beautiful cottage! The location was perfect for our family, which includes a child in a wheelchair and two older adults with limited mobility.
The house had everything we needed and was easy to navigate with a loaded down wheelchair and various pieces of life-supporting medical equipment. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to be able to have our daughter fully participate in our comings and goings, even out to the pool deck to watch her brothers swim away the hours.
Accessible beach access was just a short walk away and lots of great restaurants are nearby, though it was challenging to get in to any of them.
Cindy was easily reachable and a joy to work with. We would absolutely stay at this property again and hope to do so in the not too distant future.

Excellent communication with owner. Walk in the front door to a beautiful beach cottage. We had adults ranging from 27 to 64 years of age celebrating my sisters 60th birthday! Pool in the backyard was amazing! Access to the beach was short and sweet. Outdoor shower was a great place to rinse off sand. Kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were comfy! Close to coffee shop, grocery store, and shopping! Will definitely book there again!

This was our second time at The Mermaid’s Pillow and it did not disappoint. Our daughter’s in a wheelchair so the front and back porch ramps as well as the first floor bedroom/accessible bath we’re invaluable. There is also a wheelchair accessible beach access a block away. Great location and convenient to everything. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was thoughtful and responsive. Would definitely recommend and return!

My family and I had such a great vacation. We arrived at the property late at night and was instantly welcomed with warmth because of the thoughtfulness of Cindy to leave the lights on for us. The home is beautiful. It’s such a harmonious blend between function and style. The kitchen is well laid out. Loved the openness and size of the island and the floating shelves to easily grab the dishes and items you use on a consistent basis. Don’t have to spend time fumbling through cabinets.
Beds were cozy and bathrooms well laid out. Tile on first floor great choice for maintenance when coming in and out from the pool. Pool is great! Picnic table for outdoor family eating. Beautiful front porch and back deck with chairs to watch as our kids played in the pool. The house just flows in a great way. We have children ranging from 20 months to a teenager and literally everyone had a great time.
Communication with Cindy from initial booking, questions/inquiries, and check-in process were top rate. Property was clean and cozy. Literally across the street from the beach with easy access. Park walking distance with several playgrounds for smaller children. Location is unbeatable. We really made some great memories here and look forward to booking again in the future. So much so we attempted to rebook for next year before we even reached home but someone grabbed the dates we needed.
