We loved EVERYTHING about our stay. Travelled with a large group and Jean Claude and staff catered to our EVERY need. Highly recommend. Most beautiful views I’ve ever seen in Kigali (and I lived there 15 years) Customer service is impeccable. Thanks for everything Jean Claude! Very highly recommend!!!

Jean was amazing. The friendliest, and most accommodating host you’ll ever meet. The property was big for our group and we all throughly enjoyed it.

Excellent service, host went above and beyond our expectation to make us comfortable. Delicious hot breakfast, lots of fruit, fresh bread, coffee. Jean Claude took care of all our needs. The villas are beautiful, well furnished, kithen with stove and microwave, very appealing design and layout. Beautiful views of the city from the villa. We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was not bad it needs a little improvement. Otherwise the accommodation was superb and the view was exquisite. We really enjoyed ourselves and we would not mind to visit again. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

It is a lovely property to stay at in a group- large apartments with a living room and kitchen. The staff let themselves in to cook a breakfast every morning (fruits, an egg-based dish, a loaf/bread with spreads and filter coffee). The apartments are clean and the view is so lovely to wake up to/have a balcony breakfast on. Some drains/toilet seats were a bit funny (e.g. not draining fully/wobbly) but it's a very minor thing compared to the rest of the accommodation. Overall excellent value for the quality of accommodation!

The location is more suburban so requires taxis to/from and there aren't many cafes/ nearby shops. You can grab cheap metered taxis in the city/restaurants will call them for you so it's not too bad. It's about 10-15 min away from city locations.

The place looks amazing, comfortable and well designed with an amazing view of Kigali. Jean is an amazing host. He accommodated us and checked up on us often. He was very hospitable

The place is a bit far off from the main road where you can access Motos/Motorcycles. So you will need to pre-order a cab beforehand and wait for 30-40 minutes before they reach you. However, Jean has a cab guy if you need one

We are Rwandan/Americans and come to Rwanda often and stayed in many places. High Ground Villa is by far the best place we have stayed. it’s family oriented, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The kids loved it and enjoyed exploring and playing with other kids. We also had a great view of Kigali in a quiet area of the city. it’s nice to feel away, but know you are right there in town. There is also a training hill near by and we saw athletes training, which was great.

Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms perfect for a family. Some of the greatest views ever. Along with a wonderful host you better not miss the chance!

The breakfast was very good and adequate. I loved the fruits. Cereals or porridge would be a good add on.

Can't think of anything I did not like. Perhaps an intercom would be great in case of an emergency

I recently stayed at High Ground Villa with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and I must say that places for large groups, especially of such good quality, are very hard to find in Kigali. Jean Claude was an excellent host and made himself available before, during, and after our stay. There was a full equipped kitchen, and Jean Claude and his team provided anything that wasn't immediately available. The view from the balcony rivals the very best in Kigali (we could even see Muhabura at sunrise! - turns out its not a myth that you can see it from Kigali) and is the perfect space for a special occasion or for communal dining for a group trip. We didn't fill the villa to capacity yet still felt it provided exceptional value for money on a cost per person basis.

Hosts where extremely accommodating, and assisted us greatly during our stay. Our children enjoyed the activities that they signposted us to and they went above and beyond to assist us to get around Kigali .
