Der Nachteil ist auch ein Vorteil: es ist leicht abgelegen. Das bedeutet: zum Strand den Shuttle Service nutzen, denn es ist ein bisschen weit zum Strand bei der Hitze zu gehen ( alternativ kann man sich nen Roller mieten) Es bedeutet auch dass es ruhiger ist und das wiederum ist ja ein enormer Vorteil .

Since I had never heard of the Mandarava brand before I was skeptical about the hotel but I was proven wrong as soon as I got there. The staff was amazing, we got a free upgrade and the rooms were so spacious and clean. The view from the room was fantastic and overall the whole property was so beautiful surrounded by lush greenery and pools all around.

Perhaps if it was closer to the beach it would have been nicer, but there are plenty of pools in the property to make up for this.

Everything! We had a fan room, which was huge and beautiful. AC very effective. Views over Karon beach beautiful at sunset. The whole place kept immaculately clean, people out sweeping leaves all day, maids making the room beautiful every day. Shower and stand alone bath with great water pressure. Bed huge and comfortable. Loads of option at breakfast. Shuttle vans to take you to your room to prevent having to walk up the steep hills. Beautiful swimming pools, 5 pools in total with plenty of sunbeds. Free water refills around the resort to reduce plastic waste. Happy hour cocktails were amazing at the pool bars. Check in and check out very efficient. Well equipped gym with good air conditioning. Only 10 minutes walk to the beach, far enough away from everything to feel like you're in the middle of the jungle but close to main shops, restaurants and bars if you want them

The breakfast buffet was exceptional - huge variety and beautifully located within the resort. The swimming pools each had their own uniqueness. Among my favourite was the Coconut Pool. The rooms were beautifully appointed - with spacious and comfortable beds. The staff were fabulous.

Honestly can't fault anything. If I had to say anything - in house movie channels would be good. But really - it's not that necessary!

The place is huge. The staff was always available to give us a ride to and from our villa. The villa with pool was spacious and clean. The breakfast was alright, good variety.

Bugs at night. We wouldn’t dare to sit by the pool at night specifically due the amount of insects crawling around. I don’t blame them though, the villa given to us was the most isolated and private, it was practically in the jungle which is beautiful but does have its downsides.

The whole resort was beautiful, the pools were nice, the thai resturant was nice, the cleanliness of the room was nice as was the whole resort, the tuk tuks to your room were a necessity but nice touch, we didn't utilise from our room, but it's an option which is good for families with small kids, elderly guests and less mobile and fit guests, the staff were really good and welcoming especially the ladies at the front desk and the concierge guys that also drive the transport around the resort. There are alot of rooms in mandarava but the room style we chose was quite private, you don't feel on top of other guests, especially with 5 pools and one adults only pool is a plus. The whole resort has a beautiful tropical jungle feel to it. There are shuttle buses to and from Karon Beach 4 times a day which are good to use, the location its self is good. It's a 12-15 minute walk to Karon beach which has plenty of resturants, typical thai bars, spas, 711's, money exchanges etc. Loved our stay and would definitely book next time in Phuket.

The only things that we didn't enjoy as much at Mandarava was the chom talay resturant, it serves the breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner, if the breakfast was better it would make a much better experience, the meal I got for dinner was just below average, but my partner said she enjoyed her dinner from there, the pool bar food/room service also comes from this resturant unless you order thai. All the food other than the thai cuisine was a little dissapointing, but not over priced either in there defence, but they were the only things that could be improved from my view. And also maybe a smart tv with built in apps, you can make do with streaming from phone, those things I mentioned would just take the stay up a notch. But none of this would deter me from booking again.

Everything was amazing. Nice comfortable bed, clean room, huge bathroom with rain shower and a bathtub. An extremely welcoming atmosphere, staffs were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a large spread, local and western food. Restaurants are cosy, tasty meals. The view was magnificent, enjoyed every minute of my trip. 😍

Service was very nice and sweet. Pool was clean and interesting. The vibe and environment in this resort is very natural and cozy.

The facilities in the room was old.

Toilets and bathroom were very clean. Shame that most of the property was still being upgraded.

1. There was no in room slippers only flip flops for outdoor use. 2. Not much variety of snacks in the room. Recommend to add in cup noodles for evening consumption when it’s too late to get any room service. 3. No cold towels or drinks served during check in. 4. It would be great for the staff during breakfast to offer/serve us coffee or tea.

The staff were so friendly and the location was very beautiful! We rent a motorbike and we see a lot from Phuket. Everything is really nearby. Without a motorbike it’s a challenge.

That my room (1122) was close to the family pool (Pomelo pool), thus surroundings being quiet and easy access. The fact that my room and my sister and husband's room (1214) were placed in close proximity of one another despite being on two different packages. (i.e. staff attending to detail. Full marks!) Breakfast was out of this world. (Just a pity that on my last day I found pieces of egg shell in my omelet, which I then didn't eat). The barista coffee bar was excellent! Staff so courteous and friendly - from checking in, welcoming, gardeners, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, team who took tuk tuk bookings to town - EVERYONE.

The fact that I initially booked for my husband and I (i.e. 2 breakfasts) and then not being discounted for only paying for one breakfast as my husband couldn't make it.

honestly this place is a little dream, we booked the sea pearl room with a private little pool, it was so nice… The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! The restaurant is amazing all there food tasted so so good! we had a little problem with the couple next door, as they were loud and arguing, the manager moved us to another room where it was nice and quiet, they really do go out of there way to make sure your stay is perfect!

The walls are a little thin so you can hear the room next door if they’re a little loud!

I liked being in a standalone hutch, and the location was right on the beach and very quiet
