It is a classic old hotel

We liked everything about the hotel.

The central location with the ability to access many sites and restaurants. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

room to small for the price

The location and the helpful attitude of the staff in addition to the beautiful and elegant settings of the Avenida Palace. A true palace!

My room and the room of the rest of the group were on the first (upper) floor facing the Starbucks. Even though the view was not great, that fact was compensated by the fact that it was really quiet and there were only two rooms in that corridor. It is not that I did not like it, it is simply the only thing that perhaps I would have changed from my experience. I still love the Avenida Palace. I loved it all the way.

beautiful building with great friendly staff. great location - within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. next door to Rossio station. would highly recommend and definitely consider rebooking.

wish the AC was a bit stronger as my room was slightly stuff on warmer days if window wasnt open.
