Very accommodating hosts. Chris took us into town on first night. Although breakfast was continental, Lou offered us a cooked breakfast😀 Lovely views.

Location was a bit away from the centre of town.

Hosts, Lou and Chris, were extremely friendly and sociable. Views from property, in particular the sitting room, very impressive. Breakfast good. Able to catch a bus locally to get into city centre..

Although not that important, due to the small number of rooms, it was not easy, to use the room key.

Such a wonderful unique spot so close to the city. I would definitely consider staying again, and recommending to others.

Large room Quiet Comfortable bed

Too far from the CBD for me. One morning I ordered an Uber but they canceled on me twice and I ended up walking into the city. I found the TV options confusing and ended up just watching TV on my phone.

This bed and breakfast is perfect! It has the most beautiful views, including from the room itself and the pool/spa area that has a huge deck. The rooms are really clean and well-fitted with comfortable beds and really good heating, I even think the bathroom floor and towel rack was heated so it was very warm! The location was good too, really peaceful and only like 10 mins drive into town. Lou is very nice and helpful and puts on a lovely breakfast.

Not necessarily a negative but something to be aware of is that the driveway is very steep.

Very nice stay. Host was welcoming and gracious. She went out of her way to make gluten-free food available for breakfast and room was very comfortable. Love the heated floor in the bathroom!

Some age is showing. Roof to pool/spa area leaked a bit but inside rooms very nice and cozy.

Basic breakfast but nice. Vegan options ( plant based milk) would be a welcome addition

Amazing property. Nice breakfast, comfortable bed. One of the best places we have stayed in NZ. The hosts Chris and Lou were outstanding! We felt like we had known them for years after a short time (which turned into an hour or two) around the breakfast table sharing travel stories. Great location to get into the city and access the ferry terminal with ease.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Nice company at the breakfast table (The owner/managers) , Nice view there. The bed in our room was very comfortable and the bedding. The room was kept at a good temperature. TV in our room worked well with plenty available to view.

The room area was a little smaller than we expected but we are used to very big rooms in our house. However it was definitely adequate.
