I would say that it is a bang for your buck in Santa Teresa: great location, good breakfast, comfortable room, and an awesome pool to chill out after a day of activities. I would come back to Santa Teresa and stay there, for sure. The staff is cool and you can do much just walking around.
Nothing to complain about. Suggestion: as most of us turn the ac on, I’d suggest putting a covet in the rooms. To be honest, they should have it, I just remember to ask tonight, though, when the reception is already closed.

The location was great and the facility was quiet, serene and beautiful.
They say they have great wifi and yet, the entire stay (4 days) I wouldnt know, because I did not have connection to my main apartments wifi. I could connect to the pool/ common wifi when by the pool but couldnt reach anything other than my wifi when I was in my apartment.. I complained that it didnt work and they were responsive at first, but after they reset the router with no change they didnt do anything else.. I told them I was working remote and this was very important to me and they didnt really care.. One morning when I was walking to exit the property to go somewhere else to work and told them the wifi still didnt work, the reception told me she walked over to outside of my apartment earlier and was able to connect to the wifi and I did in fact have wifi.. I invited them in multiple times to see that my laptop, phone and their TV were not connected to the wifi and they declined the offer.. I was never irate or rude to them despite my frustrations and I ended up having to pay to work somewhere else during the day the entire time.. They wouldn't negotiate a discounted rate for this inconvenience either. Also be aware, I had three friends over to cook dinner one night and I was told by the late night receptionist that I wasnt allowed to have guests over. I had a one bedroom apartment. It was 8:30 pm, I had been a quiet, respectful resident the entire time leading up to this encounter.. It didnt make much sense and it didnt say I couldnt have company online.

Beautiful accommodation. Lovely, spacious room. We booked the twin room and had two double beds each. Great shower facilities. Clean room everyday.
Quite a few ants.

Absolutely stunning! it’s so peaceful. our room had a little porch outside where we would sit during the peak sun hours to get some shade and just listen to the wildlife around. The bed is very comfortable and shower is incredible! The pictures don’t do it justice, would stay here again in a heartbeat!
No dislikes about the property but the town is nothing special. There is nothing authentic Costa Rica about it. Mostly Canadians, Americans with Açai bowls and expensive sushi restaurants all while on a dirt road that leaves everything dusty and dirty. The only locals are the ones cooking and cleaning the hotel rooms :(

This place truly is a hidden gem in terms of location. It's a peaceful getaway that is close to the beach, bars, restaurants, and grocery store. It has lovely yoga sessions and breakfast included which was great!
ANTS - there were giant ants all over the property that would swarm in to the rooms at night. I spent my first night trying to get rid of ants in my room for hours. I did not leave any windows or doors open but they managed to get in and when I asked the front desk (which only operates during the day) they said all the rooms have ants and could only place me in a different room that would have more ants. It would have been nice to know before booking my stay.

The staff was amazing and so lovely. They knew it was our honeymoon and even offered us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! We absolutely loved our stay, it was super clean and a lovely experience. They also told us where to go to see the World Cup as our team was playing and it was the most gorgeous experience. Also the hotel is a perfect location, really close to the beach, yet very quiet as it's away from the main road! Highly recommend it.

the pool area is nice. is well located, 10 min walking from the beach. the staff is nice.
very disappointed with the hotel. the rooms feel a cold and depersonalised. like a big box. the bed sheets felt like plastic. the breakfast is just average (we only have one option, and then have to pay for everything else - for what I payed, I expected a bit more - like some juice and fruits included). there were construction staff in the pool area on the afternoon, what left me a little uncomfortable for just been there on biquíni. on my last night here, there was some rat fezes in my room, including on the top of the bed (I leave a picture here) and bathroom floor. for what I payed, I expected definitely more.

The staff was super nice and helpful, breakfast was great, rooms are well equipped, modern and comfortable, and good distance between to rooms, the garden and the pool are also super nice and great to chill at.
The shower head was spraying a bit but it's really a minor issue all the rest was perfect.

very nice pool and plants in the garden
breakfast was good
for the price the standard in the room was too little. Mattress low quality.
Staff seemed a bit bored and yoga was made with reggaeton music.

The swimming pool and common areas were great. There was also a cooler with drinks you could purchase, water in Costa Rica was good but not in this town.
The room was full of bugs everywhere, stains, the water felt like it was full of soap, never being able to rinse it. Breakfast was very limited and sometimes it can take quite long to be served (not good if you're in a rush). In my opinion the place is overpriced for what you get.

Nice quiet location. Excellent air con, much needed. Lovely breakfast with good choices. Very clean and well kept grounds.
A mirror in the bedroom and a few hooks as nowhere to hang any clothes.
