The lift at the express.

I like the room setting and the friendly staffs

I didn't like that the WiFi was down.

staff were helpful and attentive

elevator not working- had to use smelly service elevator. room had a musky odor like the carpets needed a deep clean. wifi signal in the room was poor and attempts to fix it were minimal.

Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for you. They made the stay memorable. Wifi and TV reception perfect. On site dining and ATM was convenient when it was available. Excellent breakfast, good variety on offer.

The main lifts at Holiday Express were broken (they were broken last visit too) which was doable, until the service left broke too and we had to lug everything up and down three flights of stairs. Power went off in the restaurant and backup generator wasn't working, and the ATM shut down within 48 hours... not sure if it's a serious maintenance issue or just pasin bilong png

Same as previous review. Room this time was comfortable and the AC worked well, but that is not always true for other rooms. There is some variation.

Breakfast could have more options. They were having some lift problems, so only the service lift was available. Not a major inconvenience, but it could get busy.

the key cards didn’t work initially, the staff were really kind and helpful, but made moving around more challenging

For convenience, excellent, items available good choice and value for the price. If I was looking for an exceptional breakfast I would not recommend it. Port Moresby is a tough place and I felt safe the whole time I was in the Holiday Inn grounds.

room stank of mould and was not clean. lift repeatedly broke down - twice got stuck for 20mins.

breakfast was fine, rooms were very comfortable and airport transfer worked out well. The restaurant at the Holiday Inn across the entry was fine too.

checkout could have been a bit easier (early morning checkouts occur at the holiday inn but they didn't have the correct credit card processing system).

The location is very central for Waigani. Fairly new building and spacious rooms. The Kopi Haus at the parent Holiday Inn has a nice ambience with good meals.

The fittings (chairs etc.) are a bit worn out after several years. The room access card was tricky to operate sometimes. The ducted air conditioning had very high humidity resulting in musty odours in the room and was not that responsive to adjustment.

The inclusion of free breakfast was worth it
