It’s an amazing old property. The gardens are beautiful.
As with any old property you can a bit of noise from the floor boards of other guests, but completely fine.

Bed was promoted as king, was in fact a queen. When we looked back at the accommodation the room that we booked was no longer available at any future date. We did not get the room that we booked, as far as we could tell. Everything else was perfect.

When I booked another 2 extra nights did not receive any room service to top up needed things such as toilet paper and body wash or tea and coffee, milk or sugar.

Cluttered inside. Hard sheets. Toilet seat not secure. Would have been nice to have loose leaf tea for teapot. A few helpful tips and a map /highlights of the area would have been beneficial.

An absolute hidden gem. Very quite and peaceful in the middle of Maitland, should be advertised as a mini botanical gardens. It was a very quite and tranquil stay.
The bed kept rolling away from the wall, but that is the only thing I wasn’t happy with and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful setup. Lots of thoughtful detail, beautiful room, gorgeous bathroom, and than that amazing library attached. Makes you regret that you do not stay longer.
An absolutely minor thing - no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. I was not prepared for that ...
