Breakfast was delicious and prices were comparable to restaurants outside of hotel. Hotel also offered an hour or two (don't remember clearly) of free little foot paddling boats, which was fun to pass the time. The hotel is nice and secure as well with security outside of resort. Loved that they were pet friendly as well, so I got to bring my pup along!

Staff were so friendly and helpful.
Pool was refreshing- needs a paint but I believe this is about to happen.
Room was simple but comfortable. Good shower with hot water. Beds were very comfy.
Lovely calm atmosphere. Restaurant and pool look out over the river. Dinner at restaurant was a bit pricey but good quality.
Feels safe with a security gate and a long driveway off the main road.

Breakfast was good, but not included.
The only issue was one of the rooms started to smell like sewer and we informed staff.

The location was beautiful. There was a great view of the lake and the property was very well maintained. The pool was excellent. There were three different swim areas for lengths, lounging and for children. Lounge chairs were always available and there was a balance of sun and shade at the pool side. With the marina dry docks nearby boaters came to the pool to swim and share their travel stories. There were many very good restaurants just a short walk, tuktuk, or boat ride away. Really enjoyed this relaxing stay.
The restaurant and bar were exceptionally expensive and only a few people ever ate or enjoyed drinks there. There were so many nearby breakfast and dinner options nearby that it was surprising the hotel could make any money in their restaurant.

The property was located near the Rio Dulce so a nice breeze swept over the area. Rooms were neat and clean. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was spacious and provided an extensive menu however the service was slow. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as the weather didn’t permit it during our stay. The parking accommodated our large vehicle with 24 hour security.

Very nice hotel! Across the bridge from Rio Dulce itsself, but everything is a short tuktuk ride or boatride away.
Perfect location and pool. Very nice cabins! Best we had in the whole of Guatemala.
The restaurant was very nice, but a bit overpriced. Not the prices like the rest of Guatemala. Even a bit on the expensive side for western standards, and not that great value for money.
Not many beter options available closeby sadly.

The time taken to order and receive the food is too long sometimes we have to wait for 35-45 mins .

The restaurant is excellent, might be a bit pricey for the location but definitely worth it. The food is flavorful and the presentation top notch, so kudos to the chef. The facilities are simple but quite spacious and the staff are amazing. Especially Cristina and Judith at the restaurant were amazing.
It is a resort to just relax and forget about everything, however I feel like it would be nice to have more activities in the area would be nice.

The hotel is actually much nicer than the photos. Our room was upgraded and we were given an amazing room right next to the water and marina. The pool is large and very clean, And the food at the restaurant was excellent, really good quality, so although a little more expensive than in some places, it was definitely worth it.
I really can't think of anything

Very nice hotel and room in Rio Dulce! The room was well appointed and comfortable. Hotel staff were super helpful contacting a tuk tuk for transport to the main area of Rio Dulce.

Beautiful grounds, pool, friendly staff, service and food.
We had problems in the master suite jacuzzi tub leaking on the floor and not enough hot water to enjoy paying the extra fee.

Only two employees were smart..
No safety box, no fridge, no coffee machine in the room. Bad smell. Wifi not available in the room. Walls are like paper sheets, you hear everything from your neighbours....

We loved how close the hotel was to the lake and that everything was clean. Having AC was a definite bonus, as was the relaxing hammock on the front porch of the hotel. It had everything we needed without unnecessary frills. Wifi worked well too, as did water pressure and water temperature regulation.
I wish they offered breakfast on site, but at least there was a communal kitchen.

I enjoyed the pool and the view. The room was great and comfy. I’m sooooo glad they had A/C in August cause it was hot and humid.
I didn’t like that the night we got there there wasn’t coffee. Guatemala always has coffee🤪. In the end it was a good thing cause we explored Rio Dulce and found a great place to eat. I also didn’t like how several times they forgot to put towels in my room. I had to call them using my cell phone since the rooms didn’t have phones. They were nice to bring the towels and their response was friendly.
