Lovely property, great location

The location is the main plus for this house, facing right on to the beach. The two bedroom house is spacious and the best feature has to be the modern and clean bathrooms. The main double bed was comfortable but the pillows need replacing.

The sitting room/tiny kitchen is extremely disappointing. The sitting room is in need of refurbishment, tired looking, gloomy, cheap furniture and two sofas that are uncomfortable and need replacing as other visitors have noted in the visitor book. The window looking out on to sea front is obscured by a makeshift double glazing unit which is hard to open, and slung across this half way up is an old net curtain. What a disappointment. In North Berwick the weather is bound to be rainy some days and we were not comfortable in this sitting room and with an obscured view. The rotting front door also makes for a disappointing welcome.

Location to the beach and the town. The layout of the flat. On-suite bathroom. Very warm.

Second key would have been handy. Grab handles on the wall of the family bathroom when using the shower or a bathmat to prevent slipping.
