I liked that the hotel is accessible from the beach to several businesses and other hotels around it.

The Hotel does not have parking, they use a valet parking service where the employees do not inform the guest how much they must pay for this service. They do not offer a Continental breakfast. They charge the 2 bottles of water and the coffee in the room. You must leave a deposit of $250 for room security that is charged separately from your nights stay. Very small pool.

View and location were excellent. Staff was always attentive. Pool was good. Didn't use the restaurant due to the small options of food and prices were a bit high. We had valet service which was easy to get when we needed our car. Chairs at the beach were ready and available with towels included. Staff was also there to take drink/food orders at the beach. I had balcony room with no chair or table to sit outside but the view was amazing.

Room did not have a dresser or closet to put my clothes... an open rack to hang your clothes. No side tables to put your clothes in either. Luggage had to be prompted opened the whole time on top of the small couch.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff on the beach who are very kind and pleasant and were with us every day. Also, the manager of the hotel is a very charming gentleman.

We were waiting for the room till 4:30pm. We were waiting for breakfast 1 hour and 30 minutes. The waiter who served us at breakfast was unpleasant and nervous every day, so we weren't allowed to ask him anything. The windows in the room could not be opened. I threw in the garbage two of my beach costumes that failed to dry, and the stench could not be washed off. Also, I would not recommend anyone to enter a "gym" that smells intolerably and has no windows or ventilation.

Check in was fast and friendly. Restaurant staff downstairs were amazing! Offered options for things to do including historical facts. Excellent location!

There was a disturbing heavily ammonia smell in the toilet. .s Maybe Adjusting the water temp was a challenge. Furniture is totally dated. The TV wasn't user friendly.

The good: spectacular location, couldn't be closer to the gorgeous beach with incredible sand. Literally 15 steps from the beach! Staff were so so nice, very clean, rooms are huge. Lots of convenient stores like Walgreens and cvs close within walking distance, and metropol Restaurant not too far with great food.

beds had very minimal and thin linen/bedding and we were very cold every night. There is no phone or clock in the room - in any of the rooms we used. The floors made the room uncomfortable because it's all hard tile with no rug or soft surface, not even a small floor mat to wipe sand off your feet - my feet, knees and back were in so much pain from the hard tile by the end of my stay, and we kept getting sand in the bed from not having anything to wioe our feet on. The thing about this place that bothered us the most and made our stay the most uncomfortable and unenjoyable however, was the lack of surfaces to put things. Not one table, dresser, surface to put a bag or clothes- everything had to be on the floor, basically living out of a suitcase the entire stay. We stayed there with family that had 3 rooms and all were the same - no table, no dresser, side tables were tiny and had no drawers, no closet, absolutely no storage in either three rooms whatsoever! The room was a constant mess just because there was nowhere to put anything! It made the stay very uncomfortable. One of our three rooms didn't have a fridge, one had a mini fridge, and one had almost a full sized fridge which we all thought was a bit odd. Also the shower design was horrible and water came out of the shower and splashed all over everything in the bathroom! But our biggest issue that will keep us from coming back would be the lack of storage, that was super super frustrating. I feel like these are pretty easy things to improve, and if these easy improvements would be made, I would give the place a 10/10!

there was lots of construction going on all day and night dont expect to come here and sleep in i would recommend calling first and seeing if they are done construction in the building first the drilling was so loud i did not want to even stay in the room i had to put head phones in and i could hear it still the water was not hot i had to call down stairs and wait and hour before getting in the shower wait around in the room in a towel if i could put the video here instead of the picture so you could hear how loud it was i paid alot of money to not even be able to stay in the room

Pool could have been bigger. room was basic, no dresser drawers, no credenza, side "night stands" only had one and it was a stool. Hotel is clean but needs a remodel.

Construction going on while we were staying, all day you heard a jackhammer while guys were working inside and outside the hotel on the 8th floor, also doing work by pool area while we were in the pool

the renovations were supposed to be from 11 am to 4. they started as early as 7am! loud! outdated. tv had maybe 4 channels. bed was hard. water was brown during construction one day. not a great stay for an anniversary. especially for the cost.

Pros - the stay was very pleasant and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. I had an ocean view room and it was spectacular. It was also quiet and there are fun places walking distance for extracurricular activities. Old San Juan, Calle Loíza, Piñones, Distrito T-Mobile are all very close so our Uber rate was always low

Cons - I don’t think the facilities were worth the money. The TVs have not worked since the major hurricane in 2017, there are repairs going on outside that look like they have been going on forever, the bed was okay (I expected better) and the room itself was disappointing, the size and the overall placement of things in it. None of the outlets worked and the space was limited. It felt a little too crowded for my taste. It definitely does not look like the newly built rooms you see in the photos. The rooms are outdated It was a great experience, don’t get me wrong. But for the money I think The Caribe Hilton or The ESJ are probably options that would have what I was expecting

I understand they had construction on the property but that didn’t keep me from having an amazing time! From the Valet (Shoutout to Joshua for being professional), the concierge yo the staff at KUMO for making my birthday stay special. I also loved the pool on the terrace with the beach view.
