The location was good - close to the town center, to the train station and to shops and restaurants. My room faced the back and it was very peaceful. The staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast room, were polite and helpful. In all, Hotel Ferrari was a very good choice and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. A tip to tourists : Liguria has a lot more to offer than Portofino and Cinque Terre. Some delightful towns are scattered throughout the entire coast. Camogli, Sestri Levante, Santa Margherita, to mention just a few, all reachable by public transportation.

I spent a very pleasant week in Chiavari and I don't have anything negative to say. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but since the rooms are on the first (American second) floor it was not a big problem. But it could be for some.

Breakfast... Amazing, staff are on hand 24/7 and so friendly. Bedroom is spacious and clean. They always make sure you are happy and satisfied with your stay.

Great location for traveling by train and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Chiavari in general is a wonderful large town/small city. Nice to be able to walk along the coast and visit the large public beach---all convenient to the hotel along with various outdoor cafes.
