The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. They greeted us upon arrival to tour us through our room and even took us for a drive to show us around English Harbour. We were also surprised to find our fridge stocked with some food, snacks and beers. This was very much appreciated after arriving late in the evening after a long day of travel. Throughout the stay they gave us a number to contact them at any time in case we needed anything. On the last night they invited us to their place for a delicious home-cooked Italian pizza with wine and dessert. Bonus is that this is truly the best pizza on the island! Overall the hosts were just incredible and a pleasure to have met. I’m glad to have stayed here and if we go back to Antigua I will stay here again. The accommodation itself was also perfect. It wasn't directly downtown English Harbour so it was quiet at night but only a short walking distance to the main town. We woke up every morning to a beautiful view of the harbour and all the anchored boats. The place was equipped with a nice bathroom and a full kitchen with everything needed to cook ourselves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall 10/10 stay!

Actually walking distance to Falmouth/English harbour, but probably not recommendable in night along the road. I had a rental car, which helped me out.

The property has a beautiful view over Falmouth Harbour and is within easy walk of English Harbour and Pigeon Point Beach. Dany and Ori are the most welcoming hosts we have ever stayed with. They were always available if we needed recommendations, greeted us with welcome provisions and gave us a tour around the local area to get us acclimatised. They helped make our stay in this beautiful island a real pleasure.

Easy access to groceries, restaurants, and a great place to start day trips around Antigua. The apt was well stocked when we arrived and Dani and Ori were extremely attentive. Don't miss the Jerk Chicken at Shirley Heights if you go. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The 2-bed apartment is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Each bedroom has a large en-suite, air-con and a fan. The apartment is located in Cobbs Cross, very close to Falmouth and English Harbour. It’s a perfect spot to explore the island (you need a rental car!). The hosts are welcoming and available to answer questions and give tips on the best restaurants and beaches on the island. Thank you!

Danilo and Orietta were great hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Donkey on the Beach was the perfect base for our cricket trip.

We loved our stay at Donkey on the Beach. The set is beautiful with amazing views over Falmouth Harbour. The apartment is super clean and has all the self-catering facilities required to enjoy a lovely stay in Antigua. Danilo and Orietta were amazing hosts, always available when needed. They kindly provided essential snacks and drinks for the first few days. Renting a car is convenient even though a 15min walk will take you to English harbour, shops and nearby restaurants. We recommend this beautiful villa for anyone visiting Antigua.

Charming, well appointed two bedroom apartment with a spacious balcony offering a magnificent view of Falmouth Harbour. Danilo and Orietta were fantastic hosts. Great location close to bars and restaurants, and Nelson's Dockyard.

The apartments were super clean and you are provided with all the self catering extras you wouldn’t expect! The views are fab even though car hire is a good idea (bit off the main strip)! The owners are extremely friendly and made our stay an absolute joy! would highly recommend..

The property was as described, and looked even better on arrival. Danilo and Orietta were wonderful hosts throughout our stay, the presentation of apartments was very thoughtfully put together. We had a fantastic time in Antigua which was truly enhanced by our stay at " Donkey On The Beach" and by our ever attentive hosts.

I cannot find fault with this accommodation.

Simona was the host during our stay, She is a very good communicator, always friendly & helpful and quick to respond with our queries. The villa is awesome, in a quiet location, breath taking views of Falmouth Harbour from the 2 bedroom villa. The veranda is like a garden, huge space with table and chairs, hammock & 4 poster sun bed. The rooms are spacious too, with relaxing, well thought out decor. The grounds are well kept. Freemans Bay/Galleons Beach Club & Pigeon Point are the nearest beaches.
