Place we stayed was really quiet, not many people round, but as we been told November is not a season for tourists. We loved our holidays, apartaments was very nice clean and tidy, owner was really helpful, welcoming and friendly. It had everything we needed. We will return again.

The location was perfect, literally a stone throw away from one of the best beaches in Portugal, and so close to Faro airport. The host was amazing, Marcos gave us all the local knowledge and recommended the best places to go, and also stocked up the apartment kitchen with all the basics needed.

We can’t think of anything we disliked.

The location is fantastic for the beach and laguna. Plenty places to eat and drink within walking distance and also the ferry in to town. Marcos was a great host and was never far away.

The property itself is basic but you are not left wanting.

Great location with access to the lagoon and beach, studio perfect size for short stay, great links into Faro, and Marcos was friendly and helpful.

Only one negative: I found the bed uncomfortable and on the small-side. Could benefit from a mattress topper. I'm 6'3" and my feet hung over the end of the bed. One pillow per person, would have been nice to have another pillow each. Overall, I didn't sleep well. I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism, as everything else was perfect!

Appartment located between the lagune and the Atlantic Ocean, far away from the crowded city and close to the sea and the fabulous Rio Formosa. It is just an hour walk away from the airport. You can also take bus 16 or a taxi from the airport. The appartment has all you need to have a nice holiday at the beach (30 meter walk). The owners give you a warm welcome and give you all the help you need. They arranged a rental bike for me and the taxi after my stay. I was even allowed to sit at the terrace upstairs, because there were no guests there yet. In the apartment upstairs you have a nice sea view. Don't forget to make a bike or walktour through Rio Formosa lagoon, which can take some hours, but you will see nature at its beautiest. At a few 100 metres you can also take a boattrip to Faro city for eur 3,50 ( return tickets). The owners will tell you about all the things you can do there.

Host Marcos was very friendly and helpful. The two bedroom apartment on the first floor has a big nice terrace with sunbeds, table, chairs. Apartment has a beautiful view to the sea. The ferry to the city leaves from very near the Barracuda hotel. It was a super nice 30 minutes trip to the city by the ferry.

Overall, it was the best time I could have had: after some adjustments that were kindly made by the hosts, my stay was absolutely perfect and beyond my initial expectations. I felt welcomed right from day 1, and after a few days, it was hard for me to leave such a nice place with such nice and kind hosts. They explained everything so I could take the most out of my stay in Praia de Faro. The apartment was very clean and well equiped for my stay - and my dog's stay also, as she got a beautiful and comfy bed! The view from the kitchen was absolutely astonishing. I work remotely, so I really needed a good wifi signal, and it was strong enough for me to have the regular business voice calls and update the web design of my company's websites. The apartments are very well located near bars, restaurants and one of the entrances to the beach. There is also a small supermarket nearby, which is quite handy. For me, it was exactly what I needed, and I will return as soon as possible.

There was an initial misunderstanding, but it was majestically handled and solved by the hosts and everything turned out great, so there's absolutely nothing to point out here.

Owner very helpful, Any question wasn't left unanswered. Fantastic location. Equipment sufficient. Near the airport. Car isn't necessary. Very good restaurant nearby. Waiting for our return flight it was not a problem to stay in the room a little longer. Worth recommending

I haven't found anything to bother me.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable it has everything that you could need. The position in my opinion is in the best location on the island, away from any noise but near enough to restaurants etc. Marcos who owns it is a true gentleman, we booked it because of the reviews on him and were not disappointed. He is super helpful and even went into Faro town to get us our fishing licence. We stayed on the ground floor overlooking the lagoon, the next time we will stay in the upstairs apartments as the views are spectacular. You wont be disappointed staying at the Barracuda Apartments. Thanks for making it a great holiday Marcos we will be back soon.

Nothing we didnt like!!

Marcos was so friendly and helped us with everything. The location is perfect, you just cross the street and are on the beach. Uber takes only 15 minutes to the city center and is about 8-10€. There’s also a bus and a ferry to the city center for only a few euros. The apartment is well equipped and clean. There’s also an umbrella to take to the beach. Perfect stay!
