Incredible stay amazing location over looking Punta Ala. A stunning property.

Breakfast needed a little more variety.

Extremely clean and good beds. Everything is new and the renovation has been done with taste. Lovely view to the seaside. Nice sauna and beautiful terrace with an outdoor swimming pool. Punta Ala is quiet and beautiful

The place is not easy to find and the hosts were difficult to reach on check-in day. We were given a phone number that doesn’t work. It’s a bit expensive for what it is but admittedly the area is expensive. Booking.com is not clear on the breakfast formula but the hosts offered us breakfast on both days.

Incredible view from the room and pool. The room was beautiful and very comfortable.

Punta Ala is just a resort community and quite sleepy so we spent a lot of time in Castiglione della Pescaia, a 20 min drive!

Villa Margherita has real wow factor with the nicest suite I have ever stayed in, incredibly comfortable and stylish, a real haven! It was kept meticulously clean and the his & hers bathroom areas are a great touch. It only has 3 rooms and 2 suites so it is perfect if you are looking for somewhere secluded, peaceful and quiet. Sky TV was also appreciated for a bit of down time! The views out over the bay of Punta Ala are absolutely beautiful and the infinity pool is fab! Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and a lovely opportunity to chat to fellow guests while looking out at the amazing views. It was also a bonus being able to use the facilities at the sister hotel Las Bussola which is right on the beach. Absolutely loved every minute staying here.

For us personally Villa Margherita was perfect, however it might be a little difficult for someone without a car as it would be quite a long walk to the beach front/marina area. If you hired a bike it would probably be fine. Also don't go expecting a hotel experience - other than the lovely breakfast there are no meals on offer so you need to eat out. This was not an issue for us at all as there are lots of great cafes, restaurants and beach clubs on the waterfront and harbour area of Punta Ala, and Castiglione della Pescaia is only a short drive away with lots more shops and places to eat.
