Luxe valt tegen in verhouding tot de prijs. Kamer basic, lakens met gaten en te klein. Harde ligbedden bij zwembaden zonder kussens.

Great property with great elevation to create greats views over the infinity pools! Pu Luong was such a please to visit and the hotel helped us arrange transfers and a tour with English speaking guide which was the highlight of our trip!

If you don’t do a tour I’m not sure how you’d get around or what you’d do…

Kamer goed, maar het zicht op de bergen; daar moet je helaas vanuit deze kamer wel veel moeite voor doen. Andere (duurdere) kamers hebben echt prachtig zicht op de rijstterrassen, de bergen en het dal. Vanaf het zwembad heb je ook prachtig uitzicht. Buiten is het mooi, het is wel erg glad bij het zwembad. Om sommige plekken wat achterstallig onderhoud aan de paadjes en rommel onder sommige accommodatie. Verder netjes. Om zes uur ‘smorgens waren ze al naast mijn kamer aan het vegen. Personeel: Je drankje wordt niet altijd gebracht als je bij het zwembad zit, eten moet je vantevoren reserveren. Ze zijn sneller met het uit je handen pakken van geld of sleutel dan met het helpen van het boeken van een bus. Toen ik vroeg of ze de bus naar Hanoi voor me wilden reserveren kon ik aanvankelijk een telefoonnummer krijgen om het zelf te doen. Afrekenen: Drankje is op de rekening ineens duurder dan op de menukaart en ondanks dat ze adverteren dat je met creditcard kunt betalen geldt dat alleen voor overnachten en eten en drinken en zelfs voor de bus naar Hanoi maar niet voor de activiteiten die ze aanbieden. Natuurlijk kan dat uiteindelijk wel maar het gaat wel moeizaam. Over die activiteiten gesproken: Bij de hike die ik heb gedaan staat dat het inclusief alle entree is maar er komt toch nog 100 k bij op voor het vlot en nog 10 k voor het bezoeken van het waterrad.

La vue sur les rizières est superbe. La localisation fait tout. Hôtels composé de petits bungalows sympathiques avec 2 piscines d’eau de montagne. Personnel avec un anglais basique. Moustiquaire dans la chambre (attention, l’une d’elle est trouée)

Nous avons fait une lessive via l’hôtel. Elle est arrivée toute humide, sentant mauvais. On a été obligé de tout relaver au prochain hôtel. Bof.. On est presque obligés de déjeuner et dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel car nous sommes en campagne loin de tout. Les prix étaient bien au dessus de ce que nous avons pu expérimenter au Vietnam. Très bruyant. On entend les voisins la nuit, le personnel fait des travaux constamment ou parle fort et on entend les coqs chanter. Aucune insonorisation, nous avons mal dormi. L’hôtel était presque vide et pourtant il semblerait que nous ayons eu la pire des chambres. Au rdc, avec aucune vue, et qui sentait l’humide. Il aurait été agréable de nous mettre dans une autre chambre dans la mesure où l’hôtel était presque vide. Notre expérience client aurait été meilleure.

Only criticism is the rooms with shared bathroom can be a bit noisy. We were given an upgrade after /2 nights and all other rooms are amazing

The view around the main pool is breathtaking ! It is also closeby nice walking and hiking paths. I really loved Pu Luong it was a super nice discovery.

The hotel is going under some constructions right now, so there’s a little bit of noise in the morning but it doesn’t last long. Also, one of the pools is under construction too, so the view from the restaurant is obstructed.
