I am so happy that we found this gem! The owners are so nice, accessible (if needed), accommodating, and thoughtful! My daughter turned 13 and we did a whimsical picnic for her and a few of her friends. They enjoyed every single moment of it and it was PERFECT! Once everyone left that evening my daughters and I stayed over night and it was PERFECT and PEACEFUL! You wake up feeling like you’re somewhere in south Alabama far away from the hustle and bustle of life! It was refreshing!! We will certainly come back again! This time just me and my hubby though lol! Just to get away and sit in that sunroom which overlooks that beautiful pond! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING!!!

We enjoyed our one night stay breaking up our trip to Gulf Shores. We enjoy the open floor concept and the yards for our dogs. Check in with simple and we are sure to return.

We had a great time visiting Athens, Alabama. We stayed here one night on our way to the Gulf Shores. Visiting Downtown Athens was like a town you would see in a Hallmark movie. Christmas music was playing as my daughters and I walked down the street. We visited lots of little stores and found some Christmas ornaments at an antique shop. The house was a few miles from the town. It was cool that they had a Christmas tree there for us. I loved it. There was land and a walking trail to walk with my dog Snowball. He had plenty of room to roam. There was a pavillion with swings, but a little too chilly to sit outside. I would love to come another time. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Beds were comfortable. They also had a radio/ record player for me to get into the Christmas spirit to play Christmas songs. Overall a great and wonderful experience. Would love to return and spend more time here.

Hubby and I and three friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Super clean, safe area, very prompt response from the owner. Easiest check-in I have ever had. Quiet area, very comfy bed.

This is one of the nicest VRBO's that we have ever stayed in. This was our stop off on a trip to Florida. The home is very clean and very well laid out. The home is about 2 miles off I65 and very easy to find. There is a nice little restaurant, Ramona J's about a 1/2 mile from the home. Check in was very easy and the host was quick to respond to any questions. If you are traveling I65 or are in the Huntsville area don't hesitate to book this home.

Our family of 5 (grandma & grandpa, mom & dad, teenager) stayed in the gorgeous, nicely decorated home for 3 days while visiting family and it was exactly as shown online and perfect for our needs. Very clean, well organized, and laid out nicely. The property is also beautiful and quiet but still close enough to local stores to get groceries, etc. If we travel back to the area, this place will definitely be our go to place! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Hillway House was a wonderful property to rent! Brooke has thought of every little detail in the house, and it was so easy just to come in and not miss a beat. It was quiet and beautiful, just a small drive to shopping.

House was perfect for 3 of us on a fishing trip. With a 26’ boat/trailer the driveway was alittle tight to turn around in. Property is really nice and quite. Close to shopping and restaurants.

This is my preferred place to stay when traveling between Indiana and Florida. Brooke is a gracious host. The house is adorable and comfortable. The dogs love the yard. Perfect private place!

We were a family of four adults visiting in Athens. It was nice that everyone had there own room. Really liked the main living area with electric fireplace since it was cool and rainy for most of our trip. . Location is nice & quiet and close to grocery store and I65. Overall everything was great.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. The Hillway house is our home away from home. The house itself is so cozy and comfortable. We spent many evenings cuddle on the couch watching movies with our family. The outside pavilion is our favorite spot on the property. We spent most of our time sitting outside with friends and family under the pavilion and around the fire pit. The kids spent majority of their time playing outside with all of the outdoor games and activities available, they walked the trail and went in the kayak on the small pond. Our dog loved to run around the property. We did have Thanksgiving at the house and there was everything we needed to prep and cook all of the food. The location is close to everything in town between shopping and restaurants. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. We can't wait until our next visit!

This was an overnight stay on our trip to Missouri. Everything was perfect. Brooke is easy to communicate with. Her rental is clean and just as the pictures show. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. It is convenient to just about anything you could want. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time to stay here. We love everything about it. It’s so much better than hotel rooms if you have several people. Plenty of space inside, and outside is great for relaxing and letting the kids play. 5 minutes to anything in Athens.

If we hadn’t already had reservations elsewhere, I could have stayed here the whole week without regret. The owners may live on the same property but don’t let that be a deterrent. They never bothered us in any way and only came to meet us at our request. Brooke was so nice during our communications that I asked to meet her once we arrived. Absolutely spotless home, had everything you could need and more. Plenty of room inside and out to move around on. Was such a breathe of fresh air. Beautiful scenery outside. Only slept in the master bedroom so don’t know about the other beds but it was very comfortable. Other family members said same about their beds. Being able to have our furry family members with us was such a special part of this place. You won’t regret being here. Not one bad thing to say about the whole experience and will be staying overnight again on our trip home. Loved it and the couple who owns it. Wonderful people! The home is stocked with all cookware and utensils and the everyday things you would need. Pleasant experience all the way around.

When visiting family in Athens I always book this house. Traveling with kids it’s perfect for us. I love that we feel outside of busy town but minutes from grocery store and food deliveries! Perfect and Brooke is the best to work with you. Definitely be back!!
