The host let us check in an hour earlier. The studio was clean and very cosy. The internet was fast ,there were plenty of TV channels ( not that we watched any of them ), fully furnished kitchen and complimentary fruits and juice. The location was superb - in the heart of town centre and only 10 min away from the main bus station.

The room was a bit dark as not much sunlight was comming through the windows. Also , there was a strong smell of drain comming from the bathroom . Neither of those were bothering us as we were out most of the time.

Position, cleanless, hosting, nothing but the best recomendataion..

The apartment had everything we needed and more. The host has an attention to detail. When we got to the property the host was there to meet us with lots of helpful information and local recommendations.

The whole apartment is perfect for a couple or a family + 1 child. But the most incredible was the kidness of the hosts. Super very well located.

Hosts were lovely - very welcoming and had a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival. They also checked on us by text every couple of days. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and everything was very clean. Bed was super comfy and spacious. Location was great - right in the centre of Split.

A lot of noise from people stomping around in room above at all hours, which kept us awake.

The location is perfect. The house is in old city and accessible to main tourist places. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Our stay at MarMar was amazing. The apartment was super clean, offered everything that we needed and is located at the perfect location in the old town of Split. The little bench outside was a very nice extra (we had our breakfast here every morning). The bed was super comfortable. We cooked two nights and the kitchen had all the equipement that we needed for that. Host Simone was super nice and polite. I highly recommend this place!

Good and easy contact and service from Simone, before and during our stay. The room felt new and fresh and were fully equipped with more than we needed. Our 14 years old son loved the marine theme and the wifi. Very good location, near everything we wanted to do and see. Excellent value for the price we paid. If you don't need a balcony or sea view, this is absolutely the place to stay!

What's there not to say about MarMar? It was perfect. Simone & Hrvoje were very friendly and accommodating. The location could not be better. You have the town of Split in your palm the moment you step outside. Great food, Split port for ferries to islands and Dubrovnik, and a very lively night scene all within an easy 10-minute walk. It was surprisingly quiet in the apartment for being so close to heavy-traffic walkways. Great place to use as a hub to see more of Croatia (Krka, Zadar, and Trogir easy drives). I'll be back if I can go back to Split and would highly recommend for any family or solo traveler.

The owners of the property are polite, educated and help us from the beginning of the booking process until the last minute. An excellent comunicaton. They welcome us with fruits and a local drink. The presentation of the property was immaculate and Simone and Hrvoje explained all the necessary information to make our holydays very enjoyable. We are very happy with our stay in MarMar and we recommend openly and sincerely this place. We hope to came back to Split and without doubt MarMar will be our place to stay.
