We picked this place because the location seemed to be what we wanted and we were right. It was very close to grocery stores, restaurants and the Capital Building. We were able to Uber easily when we wanted to and walk the other times as well. The house was set up well and was perfect for the Family to stay in. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful. The owner was very attentive and in constant communication to make sure we had everything we needed.

Close to parks, services and sites. Worked well for us.

What a great house! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to DC. The location can’t be beat! 2 blocks from Whole Foods and Starbucks. A 10-15 minute leisurely walk to Union Station, The Capitol Building or The Supreme Court. There were 5 metro cards left behind from previous guests. We purchased one more, as a family of 6, to leave behind for future guest use as well. The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The house also has a wonderful book collection. There were travel books about DC and maps as well as a variety of novels for guests to enjoy. On our next trip to DC we will book this same house!!! The kids were so sad to leave, as were the adults. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a very nice stay. The unit was mostly clean. The rugs and carpets need a good scrub. We couldn’t get the master bedroom Tv to work. There were a few little maintenance jobs needed and the towels shed and were so non-absorbent I felt more wet after using them! Lol. But, it worked great for us. Nice proximity to Whole Foods and restaurants.

This was a great townhouse for our family and the location is perfect. Truly lovely neighborhood, easy walk to Metro (Union Station) and the Capitol. Needs a bit more polish and upkeep around the edges (washing machine doesnt work properly, blood stain on linen, broken towel bar, under cabinet lights in kitchen do not work, broken handle on kitchen cupboard). I would recommend having placemats and kleenex for guests. But still good experience overall and would recommend.

We absolutely loved this home! There is plenty of space (we were 4 adults; my husband and I in our 30’s and my parents in their 60’s), and the area of town is perfect. It’s a short walk to a few food/coffee options, as well as a Whole Foods grocery store and a CVS. We took advantage of the home being close to Union Depot so we could utilize the DC Circulator bus. We are happy we decided against renting a car, as the street parking in the historic district is tight. We felt it was not necessary with the location of this home. Everything was clean, spacious, quiet and overall lovely. The home has everything you could need for an extended stay. We had no issues while staying here and would recommend this home for your DC travels. It’s a very easy check-in, check-out system. The neighborhood itself feels very safe. We cannot wait to come back someday!

This was a good choice for our small group. The house is very near restaurants and groceries on H Street. Communication about our stay was always prompt.

This property was the perfect size for our family. Me, my son and his fiancé, and my sister-in-law. The location was excellent; we walked each day to Union Station to board the metro wherever we wanted to go. Easy walk to Whole Foods, where we shopped for breakfast and evening snack groceries. 2nd bathroom could use some updates. Already alerted the owner

We had such a lovely stay! It was just the right size for our family (my husband and I, teenage son and my mom). The house was comfortable (especially the beds), the kitchen had everything that we needed. So comfortable that my mom decided to take a day off of sightseeing and just relax at the house:) I really appreciated the closeness to Union Station (7-10 minute walk) and that there were already Metro cards at the property. It was a good reminder that transit was nearby. Two groceries stores within walking distance (Giant and Whole Foods), multiple local coffee shops, and restaurants made it an easy place to stay. It was so nice to come home to a neighborhood after being tourists all day. Lu was so nice and such a great communicator. Thank you for making our trip comfortable and easy:)

Fantastic and well kept row house in a great neighborhood. Two blocks walk to bustling H corridor, with grocery stores, restaurants, shops. A few more blocks to union station and metro. Thoughtful touches, including metro cards, current magazines, and Aveda products in the bath. Comfy beds and cable access, and a quickly responsive owner. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was perfect for our family trip to DC. The location is great. A nice neighborhood with short walk to groceries and public transportation. The house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked.

Fantastic location with access to local restaurants and all the tourist activities in DC. The rental had great space. It could use some enhanced maintenance (light bulbs) and general upkeep (loose tile in the bathrooms and kitchen) and general cleanliness.

Highly recommend as it’s so close to everything. Walking distance to museums, etc. place was pristinely clean. Super comfy beds. Would stay here again!

The house was perfect for the two of us, plus our 2 teenager sons. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Just a short walk to groceries and restaurants. The house was clean, beautiful and comfortable to come back to after a long day of sightseeing! Some nights we just sat in the porch rockers with a glass of wine and relaxed. I highly recommend this property and cannot thank our host enough!

Easy to walk to union station but we never took public transport. Used uber or walked. So close to Capitol building. Nice neighborhood. But listing disappeared from VRBO. Very strange. We couldn’t see details leading up to our stay.

Lu and his assistant are fabulous to work with! The home is so very well appointed. The truth is in the details, extremely soft throw blanket, Aveda bath products, etc. The neighborhood is friendly, there is a CVS, Whole Foods and many restaurants within walking distance, including Union Station. Scooters are plentiful and make the trip to the Mall, Capitol, and even the Lincoln Memorial, fun to get to. As a Grandma bringing her 4 grandchildren (ages 10 - 17) to see their Great-Grandpa's Arlington resting place, I was probably a bit of a drama queen with Lu. But one phone call and he made me realize what a great time everyone will have. And we did. I will definitely book this home again. Patricia

This property is exactly as presented and reviewed by everyone with one exception, new patio chairs on the back deck. As written by others location is perfect and convenient within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and public transit. The home is great, nicely appointed, welcoming with plenty of space and seating, and worked perfectly for our family of four adults and a 2 year old. There was a new pack and play as well as stair gate provided, important details for those of us with young children. Lu is such a nice host! We had a couple questions and he responded and took care of things very quickly. Adding more would be repeating what others have said in their reviews. If searching no need to look any further this is the perfect place!
