The location of this property is great. The house was not ready when we checked in. The upholstery cleaning company showed up to clean the carpet and couches after checkin time. They then told us we would need to leave for 4 hours for them to clean the carpet and couches. The refrigerator and trash cabinet were not cleaned. There were bugs (ants and roaches) throughout. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub. There was old water bottles and socks under two of the bed. Two of the bedroom tv’s didn’t work. I brought several of these issues to the property management’s attention and absolutely nothing was done. No offers to correct; basically just shrugged off.

Loved the house and its accouterments. Ease to to reach, comfortable to use with a great access to the lagoon and a short walk or very short drive to the beach. Lots of towels and a good kitchen and living area for eating and games!

We stayed at the end of the season so there were many holes in the sheet rock and other things broken but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful vacation!! We had three families staying at once and the layout of the rooms was perfect! In our group we had 6 adults and five children and we all enjoyed the location! We enjoyed coffee on the upper deck while the kids enjoyed movies left by others. The lagoon beach is small but right where the kids could play and we could enjoy the lower patio and the pool was perfect for those evenings after touring for the day! I would go back!

Check-in was smooth and place was clean. Unfortunately there’s a hole in the Sheetrock in the bathroom on the first floor, the toilet seat was broken, and there wasn’t a light above the shower (just the hole for a light fixture). There’s a big carpet stain in an upstairs bedroom that’s probably coffee or wine but honestly looks like blood. And we had a lot of issues with the internet not working and trying to figure out the TV’s. One of the TV’s in an upstairs room we never figured out; a remote was missing we think and we couldn’t ever change the channel.

The house was big enough and had all the advertised rooms, view, and closeness to the beach, however, inside multiple items were broken (toilet seat, microwave door, faucets, etc.). When we arrived, they had fans and dehumidiers blowing all over the house, because of a leak four days prior to our arrival. The noise was very uncomfortable. The carpets seemed filthy all around.

This house is off the beaten path in Gulf shores, so you can avoid the chaos of the big condo areas. Also, this house is for sure the best location in the culdesac. It is literally 2 steps from the pool, pier and lagoon - so convenient. It's a short 10 minute walk to the gulf or the Lagoon Pass. Loved it.

Best of both worlds
We had pool access as well as a short walk to the beach! Five of us 60ish gals spent too short of a time at this home with all of us having our own separate rooms. We were just close enough to stores when needed to get souvenirs and ice cream when we wanted. I read reviews that pans were not in the home but small pans were available. I am not sure if ice came out of the freezer since we brought our own.

Golden Sunrise was better than we could have imagined. The house had plenty of rooms and space for a family of 10. The pool and back dock made the place even more entertaining. The back dock could be used for swimming or fishing. It was truly a place to escape the hustle and grind of life. I am already looking into booking Golden Sunrise for next season. Did I mention the awesome sunrises and sunsets! Can't wait to go back!

Golden Sunrise was better than we could have imagined. The house had plenty of rooms and space for a family of 10. The pool and back dock made the place even more entertaining. The back dock could be used for swimming or fishing. It was truly a place to escape the hustle and grind of life. I am already looking into booking Golden Sunrise for next season. Did I mention the awesome sunrises and sunsets! Can't wait to go back!
