My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights in the Bird house. The location is close to Homer, although not secluded. The cabin has everything you need. The entire cabin is very clean

Beautiful clean property in a very pretty setting! Sand Hill Cranes right out our door. Lovely cabin with lots of room, everything you need and Alaska feel. Just perfect!

Could use alittle more small helps like shelving or cabinetry, wall hooks in bathrm to set clothes, personal items. A door between sink area and livrm for privacy and noise- At least a nice curtain!
We enjoyed our stay, the view, and watching the sandhill cranes on the nicely landscaped lawn rt in front of our cabin! Thankyou!

Jaret and Jen were amazing host and their cabin was magical. Moose, sandhill cranes, eagle and other birds. The cabin was fabulous and well equipped. We loved our stay.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It is situated in a quiet location but is close to restaurants, downtown and the spit. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will plan on staying here whenever we visit Homer!

Love Bear Canyon Cottages!
As always, we had a wonderful stay! We were in the Bird House for this visit, but both cabins are beautifully furnished, very clean, fully stocked for cooking and baking (we had most meals in the cabin), and located on a gorgeous property. The area is peaceful and quiet, with lovely songbirds keeping to keep you company. The check in/check out process could not be easier, and property management (Janet and Jaret) is super easy to work with and easy to contact. These cabins are always our first choice when traveling to Homer.

Super clean, well-equipped, quiet, with comfortable beds and responsive and generous hosts. Beautiful setting and only a few min. drive into Homer and out onto the spit for adventuring with Just Add Water Alaska. We had such a fun time in Homer and would definitely stay in the Bird House again!

My wife and I enjoyed the property and the hospitality of the owners. They were welcoming and helpful if needed. The property was beautiful and had a great view outside if you wanted to sit in one of the adirondack chairs. We would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful 4 days at Bear Canyon Cottages. This was the 4th time we had stayed there and it won’t be the last time. Had visits from cranes every morning and every nights.
