Quiet beachfront apartment, with a pool, direct access to the beach; property well maintained. Fully equipped kitchen and family space, in-unit washer and dryer, comfortable balcony and 3 bedrooms gave everyone space to enjoy the vacation at their own pace. We had a fully- stocked beach locker with chairs, boogie boards so no need to buy them or transport everything. The white-sand beach was clean and there were miles to walk; shallow water and light waves, breeze made it comfortable even when temps got to 90s. You can take side trips to Beaufort, New Bern, ferry trips to remote Outer Banks, and visit a very nice aquarium on coastal waters on the island.

You need to drive to sit down restaurants, shops, grocery. It was priced at the high end (but everything was in good shape so feel we got a reasonable value). If you are wanting to gather shells, you’d probably do better on the Gulf side.

Beautiful location, right on the beach with great views. Inside was just as beautiful, nicely furnished and decorated with everything. You might need plus some. Recommended to all.
