On arrival I called the Host and they provided me with the code for the lock box. They answered first call I made and were more than polite and hospitable. The price we paid for our stay though - COULD NOT BE BEATEN and for the price we were both EXTREMELY happy with property on the whole. It was VERY clean; the bed COULDN'T BE FAULTED and even though the property was positioned along the main highway, we heard ZERO Traffic and were not bothered one bit.

The ONLY issue we had during our stay was that the stove did not work. It was switched on at the wall etc but I couldn't get it working. It was late in the evening, so I did not make contact with the Host to bother them at that stage - and New World was only a short 2 minute walk down the road, so I wasn't overly bothered... however, my daughter was upset coz she couldn't cook mum breaky for mother's day :) ha ha. Upon leaving the property I did let the Host know about the stove and they were VERY apologetic and happy that we had made contact to inform them. It was an apparent easy fix and the Host had expressed that they were disappointed we hadn't contacted them to sort it at the time. It was nice to know they were approachable and I valued their willingness to be available whatever the issue. I will know better for next time.

I didnt know that breakfast could be served. Very good location. I think the place could do with a bit more TLC or sprucing up a bit on the outside.

I couldnt get the oven top to work. There was/wasnt clear instruction on how to get it going properly.

The lockbox was an issue, but sorted with a phone call to Kylie. The door unlocking mechanism is a little tricky ! but fine once you understand it.

Very clean and everything you need is there.

I bit noisey due to it being on the main road.

We loved this studio, great space, everything we needed! Really comfortable bed and kitchenette with all we needed. Great location and we highly recommend it!

Comfortable and good use of limited space. Kept cool during hot spell so comfortable temperature. Kaikoura a fantastic place to visit!

Road very busy (as we were told) so not really suited to sitting outside. Mentioned in detail/file close to swimming beach but definitely not a place to swim as indicated on the official boards
