It was an exceptional apartment superbly located. Very original.

There was nothing not to like.

Casa Poeta Pelayo was a dream of an apartment. The loft was accessorized to make it personal with extra touches using antique flare. The rooms and kitchen were well equipped. The second room was interesting in that it had curtains to separate it but very private. It was in an excellent location to allow access to the pedestrian walkways and many restaurants and shopping. There was a handy bus tour within walking distance which was superb.

There was no elevator but we managed.

Everything about this apartment is amazing. We loved our stay here and the proximity to everything. It is lovely and quiet, comfy and so tastefully decorated.

The apartment is beautiful, every little detail is designed to make the host feel welcomed. It was spotless and the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and relaxing. It's very central, only few steps from main attractions and restaurants. An hidden gem in the heart of the city!

there’s no attached parking so it’s a bit of extra effort and cost.

We never stay in private accommodations for fear of arriving and the apartment being dirty or not like the photos. Poeta has such good reviews that we tried it. We needed a stop to sleep and do laundry and the washer and dryer were great. The plane was so charming and perfect that I wished it was my own. Just beware that if you have heavy luggage it is two flights of steps up.... but worth it. Wish we had planned a two night stay here. Cartagena was charming.
