I like the breakfast and the location

The rooms do not have enough facilities. facilities such as fridges are only in the kitchen. There is also no wifi in the rooms or location which is very disappointing.

I'm from London, UK and was DELIGHTED to spend an entire month living here - as a digital nomad - in my safe, cosy, private, glamping tent under the canopied shade of a sprawling camelthorn tree. FREE WiFi, access to a huge swimming pool, FREE breakfast (poolside at Roosters - across the road), wonderful staff (I love you Mercia!), access to an enormous kitchen, laundry facilities in site, private bathroom (no sharing), 5mins walk from a huge supermarket (and other shops, cafés and restaurants), FREE parking and live music across the road at Utopia on the weekends. The absolute bonus for me was daily bootcamp classes at 6:30pm (behind Roosters) and twice-daily yoga classes 15 minutes walk away with Suzi Seha (https://www.suziseha.com/). Bliss. Great value for money at 380NAD per night. My very own secret slice of Namibian paradise!

Nelson Mandela Avenue is a main thoroughfare and therefore very loud. I didn't mind - I was up at 6am every day for daily yoga - but worth noting and bearing in mind. Apart from that, Travellers Inn undersells itself and far exceeded all my expectations.

The staff is not very friendly. Angeline stood out as the best staff otherwise the rest should work in farms. She even stood up to cover the mistakes of her superiors.One of her seniors literaly left me to be helped by Angeline when she was the one i needed to be helped with

The reason I chose this property for our Trainees is because they indicated breakfast is include. Just for the our guest to arrive and be told breakfast is NOT included. Back and forth emails, then breakfast is included. Then again not but only intercontinental breakfast. They later offered a free breakfast but the stress was enorm it is hard to appreciate such a gesture. Worse the restaurant manager went on to twist their misleading information to make it sound we were just complaining. If it wasn’t Covid, I would have moved my team somewhere else. It was a horrible for the two first time traveller to Windhoek.
