very old in every way. elevator was decrepit, carpet was old. very run down. doesnt deserve any stars. would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They accept pets with extra fee. They have tiled floor so it is easier for staff to clean. The room smells nice and clean. Brand new hotel with Dove toiletries.

The wind was blowing really hard due to a storm and we were at the 4th floor. The window was vibrating and was making a sound . Not too bad. I was able to sleep through it.

Felt new, spacious, clean.

The pet fee. My cat slept the whole time. No extra work for the housekeeping staff and no damage. It is hard to travel these days without being nickeled and dimed to death. I get it, there are messy, destructive pets and the rest of us get punished for them. And, I get it, the hotel can make some more money. Again, we lose out. The air conditioner unit was loud enough to wake us each time it cycled on. Fortunately we weren’t there in the summer. We were able to turn it off but the room wasn't as cool as we would have preferred.

Cleanliness

Breakfast wasn’t ready we went down at 6:45 still by 7:15am lots of items still not out or warmed/cooking Sign said 6am we got on the road much later than we anticipated we do look for hotels that offer breakfast. Breakfast options within the area where very limited

Great location off the interstate to stop for a night of rest.

The hotel was on an exit off the highway we were traveling on, so arriving and departing did not add to our travel time. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Our whole group found the rooms clean and comfortable. We will stay there again and recommend the hotel too family and friends.

Easy to locate, this La Quinta seems like it was recently built. Everything was very clean and modern. Front desk staff was wonderful! Decent complimentary breakfast at 6am, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, cereal.

Can be a bit noisy at times. When someone’s talking in the hallway it seems that they’re right next door or in your room. Other than a couple obnoxious and inconsiderate guests, this hotel was wonderful.

The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. The property is brand new and spotless. The location cannot be beat. The recommendation of the Guadalajara restaurant was excellent. Best food in Fort Stockton.

The water in the pool was quite cold.

This hotel was remodeled and is over-the-top for a LaQuinta. We were shocked. If you’re staying in Stockton, this is the place.

Not a negative thing to say other than there isn’t any natural green space to walk a dog but hey, you’re in Ft. Stockton, nothing is green except the traffic lights.

It's right off the interstate, very clean, has friendly staff, and nice breakfast. Perfect place to stop on my way to Austin, TX from Tucson, AZ.

location was next to a lot with old tires and discarded items. the bathroom location made it impossible not to awaken others staying in the room

Very nice rooms, lovely in-room amenities with a kitchenette and comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was nice. Everything seemed very clean and functional. Location was convenient and it was quiet.

Water pressure in shower left something to be desired. I don't like when breakfast is served until 9 and they stop refilling things after 8:30. I feel like they should say something at check-in along the lines of, "but we stop cooking for breakfast at 8" because when I come down within breakfast hours and they're out of eggs, pancake batter, etc, it annoys me. I asked and they said no they're done. (And I'm not talking about showing up at 8:59 either.)

It was a perfect place to stop overnight while we were traveling. It was clean and the staff was nice.
