I randomly came across an Instagram ad for the Beach + Bay Bungalows earlier this year and I’m so glad I clicked the link! We stayed for 2 nights for my 40th birthday and it was perfect for my husband, me, and our two kids. The communication with Stay Marquis was clear leading up to our stay and the person who met us when we arrived was helpful and friendly and got out of our way quickly so we could get our vacation started. The AC was strong enough to cool off the enclosed porch where our kids slept. The walk to the beach was right across the street and we were amazed by how empty the beach was while we were there. The beach chairs they offer are quite small- I was glad we brought our own for the adults. There were 4 inflatable paddle boards for guests to use. We discovered quickly that there were no paddles and later that two of the boards were not fully inflated. We reached out to the property representative and paddles were delivered later that day. Our kids had a lot of fun paddling around the bay! We enjoyed watching the sunset from our deck and sitting out there in the mornings with an iced coffee and a book. We cannot wait to go back next summer!

The property was very charming and amazing sunsets . We enjoyed the bay view and having beach access right across the street . Cute local restaurants as well as fun vineyards not too far away . I would definitely recommend it !

We had the best time at the bungalow. My sister lives nearby and we always stay with her but this time we needed a little more special vacation time. The bungalow was perfect. We loved using the bikes watching the sunset, distant storms and walking on the amazing beach across the street. We miss it and would go back in a heartbeat.

While a wonderful place and really special, 6 of the 8 bunagalows were rented out to a wedding party. As would be expected they had a very loud after-party from 1:30AM-3:30AM the morning. They gathered on the deck and played cornhole on the mini-beach immediately to west of our unit. There was music and much loud merriment (as there should be!). Needless to say we could not sleep. One of the reasons selected (and paid higher rate) to get the bay-front bungalow was to get away from the noise of the City for a couple of days; we certainly didn’t “feel the calmness while gazing at the stars” as per the property description. It was not our expectation that (aside from one other bungalow) that the entire complex was rented out to a single group, except for us and one other. While very on top of things until there was a problem, StayMarquis has been unresponsive since we raised this issue. It seems that the property is in the grey zone between a VRBO (where one gets privacy) and a small hotel (but w/o the management infrastructure.)

Our experience here was absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful property. Prime location for great restaurants in the area and day trip to Montauk. We will 100% be back!

Even with a long weekend of nonstop rain, this was exactly the weekend I needed to refresh. The bungalow is perfect for relaxing, cooking, and being peaceful. Will definitely do this again!

We love Beach and Bay Bungalows. The location is fantastic with beautiful water views, sunsets, and beach access. The renovations made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Can't wait to return!

The location is terrific- right on the bay, and across the street from the ocean beach. The house is small, but we were comfortable enough with three adults, spent most time outside. Overall had a great time. Would agree with others that cleaning fee is high for size of house and what needs to be done, on top of rent & other fees. Would also suggest getting a real coffee maker instead of hotel style with paper coffee packs- most people would appreciate a decent cup of coffee in the morning, and would bring their own coffee to get one.

So serene. Beautiful views of the bay, including swans, egrets, osprays, sunsets, from the cozy bungalow deck. Great and easy access to the beach, too. We had a great time.

My boyfriend and I spent a perfect week in Bungalow 4 with our dog, and this location is not to be missed. This bungalow is right on the peaceful bay (which you can walk out in up to your waist at least half way across), and is also conveniently located across the street from the beach. The front deck is the perfect place to enjoy the scenery, read a book, grill out, or take in a stunning sunset, and the inside of the bungalow is comfortably equipped for just about anything you might need during your stay. We can\'t wait to come back and would have extended our stay if we could have. (I don\'t disagree with a previous reviewer that mentions the high cleaning fee with regards to the level of clean up we ourselves had to do before checking out.)

My friend and I were looking to get out of the city for a bit in The Hamptons that was dog friendly and came across these unique waterfront bungalows online. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. OuR patio was steps from the water which was amazing and only a small road separates us from the beach on the opposite side. The dogs enjoyed running around in the water and along the beach And the outdoor shower was convenient to rinse off before going inside. The bayside sunsets were breathtaking and it was nice to enjoy it with new friends we met on the property. The bungalow was extremely clean and stocked for everything we needed. The beach chairs, towels, umbrella and yeti cooler were a plus! The only “issue” was the cleaning fee. It was high for the amount of cleaning that was expected before leaving the property. All in all I would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend!

The Bungalow has an amazing view of the bay and easy access to the beach. This was the perfect getaway for my husband and me!
