If you are looking for a regular old B&B, this is not it. It’s an Eastern Spiritualists’ dream haven. You will be greeted by 2 dogs, and one of them will hang out with you and keep you company if you desire. Renny, the owner, and her boyfriend will welcome you into their home like you are old friends. She put on music, showed me to my room, and let me wander about the house as if it were my own. She offers yoga, among other guided healing arts sessions. I strongly suggest the “soul strong”. session to enhance your stay. This will be a retreat experience, not just a bed to sleep in, unless you just want that, but why would you? Each room has a theme and is uniquely designed and decorated with inspiration and empowerment in mind. Come with an open mind and heart to experience the magic of Tree House. Other neat things: bath bombs and bath salts, big fluffy white towels, comfortable beds and bedding, a neat little commons area with complimentary drinks, the vegan power bowl in the morning was actually pretty good and I’m not an oatmeal person, the lighting was amazing. The front porch was cozy. Perfect location in five points south and UAB campus.

Not complaints, just observations: The top windows above the bedroom doors need curtains to block out light from the hallway for sleeping. The bath tub is perfect for taking a bath, but hot water ran out before it was really deep.

This is an amazing stay! The only thing that could have made it better was if we could stay longer. The owner was so nice, so helpful and respectful. We stayed in the water room. It was gorgeous! Very clean, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was great.
