Very clean place with the best accommodation

The location is excellent because you can reach the most important monuments walking. But it’s also very near to Tram 1 which is very useful. The flat is perfect, you have everything you need. The host is so thoughtful, he starts helping you the moment you make your reservation and he’s always available for every needs. I would definitely choose again the structure for a further holiday!

Nothing bother us

very clean apartment, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, clean towels, bed sheets, etc., water bottles are available at the reception, neighborhood is very quiet, shops and historical sites are very near though. Will come back again sure.

Excellent location (10 minutes walk from main touristic sites). Very quiet appartment with good restaurants nearby.

Kitchenware is a bit sparse.

Ozhan was really helpful and receptive to our needs. He arranged our ride to and from the airport and was there to welcome us at appt even when it was late at night. He provided us with whatever we needed like iron and iron board and convertible chargers for turkey. He also provided house cleaning and extra towels and toiletries whenever needed. Laundry services are also available at extra charge. He provided us with a map and helped with other questions that we had. Location is excellent. Literally at a walking distance from blue mosque, aya sofia and topkapi palace and from beyzat square and grand and spice bazaar. Mind that we were traveling with little kids and walking was not at all a trouble due to short distances from all main attractions. Lots of eating places around this area. Also very safe to walk around at night. We really enjoyed Ozhan’s hospitality and appt’s location and amenities.

The only thing that can be improved and that i am saying from a toddler’s parents perspective is the sharp edged furniture. Tables and end tables had sharp edges which kept us nervous with our toddler walking around it. Also it would be nice to have in unit washer and dryer.

Nice accommodations within walking distance to most everything we wanted to see. Great food at every turn!

It's all too pleasant

The hosts Ozhan and Ramazan did extra ordinary services. They showed us where to get affordable foods, supermarket and good rate money changer. The location was nearby to any spot of tourists attractions. They also arranged our tour to Bursa. Thank you very for your extra mile support. Easy to take airport shuttle with them.

Clean, warm, quite spacious room with kitchen in case someone wants to cook. We were in November so till late evening the temperature was falling, so it was actually not so warm in the evening and in the morning, heaters were working later during bath time - perfect energy saving. Owners were very warm, and eager to help with everything. Place is about 10-15 minutes from Hagia Sofia, and has a lot of average restaurants and bars in neighborhood. We are happy that we decided to stay by Ararat Apart, because getting from point A to point B in Istanbul is a nightmare. Quite cheap parking option in 10-15 minutes on foot from apartment (trick - no one checks time of your arrival there, so you can park and when leaving (after X days - doesn't matter) just say that you had have parked yesterday - obviously in case you are running out of money I do not recommend behaving like mass media or big pharma), there is a different parking place 2 minutes on foot too, but way more expensive.

More toilet paper will be nice, we run out off it after second day (we use a roll each day)

We arrived at 12 midnight due to a late flight, but ozhan was there to give us the keys and explain to us how to get into and out of the property. Each morning ozhan was available for anything we needed, both rooms are perfect for our family and the kitchen facilities meant we could have our own breakfast whatever time we needed. Area was quiet, but ideal for us, we love to walk so it was nice to get up and down to grand Bazaar and Aya Sofia which were roughly 10 mins away. Our location was perfect for shopping also as all the things sold in the Grand Bazaar for being sold on the streets close to our location for half the price which meant we did most of our shopping closer to our location. We arranged a taxi with ozhan, and the taxi was perfect and got us safely and securely to and from the airport. We Thank you so much for a warm and welcoming stay and also for guiding us daily.

This is probably the best accommodation for this price that you can find in the whole Istanbul! The location is great, just a short walk from the tram stop, the grand bazar, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There are also a lot of places to eat nearby, we liked the Begonville cafe which is on the same street just in a minute from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious and works great for 4-5 people. We have stayed as a group of 4 adults and one infant, and it was very convenient. Essentially we got 2 rooms with 2 kitchens and 2 separate bathrooms! Both hosts were very helpful and accommodating - they organised transfers to and from the airport as well as the Bosphorus boat tour, recommended places to visit, explained how to get the public transport card. Just something to note for other guests - there is no washing machine in the apartment, but I understand that this is quite standard situation for Turkey. You can reach out to hosts and they'll organise the laundry for you.

Some small thing to improve in the apartment - we noticed that some towels and bed linens were quite old with small holes in them (they were clean though, so no worries about cleanningness). It would be good to upgrade those at one point.

There is nothing to complain. Just an exceptional accommodation in the historical center.
