This was a great condo for our vacation. We stayed in mid July and we’re fine without air conditioning. The facilities on property are nice and resort is beautiful.

Clean and comfy vacation property with great management.

It was perfect for us. We had a sand soccer tournament and it was an easy walk. Bbq was clean and made meals easy while the kids swam in the pool. The kids loved all the amenities ping pong, pool, golf, swimming etc. I loved eating on the patio watching the ocean. My absolutely favorite was sleeping with the screen door and listening to the ocean waves. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here for 9 nights in May 2023, visiting from Scotland. The grounds are beautiful (although easy to get lost in!) the common areas of the building are a little tired and dated, especially the elevators! The complex is regularly patrolled and feels very safe. The apartment was perfect for our needs. There were 3 of us (myself, husband and adult daughter), with visits from 3 relatives during our stay. Everyone was able to park if required, but do be sure to have your visitors display their parking passes and move the car every 24 hours… they DO check up on this… by brother’s tyres were chalk marked by patrollers so they’d know if you haven’t moved. The kitchen was very well supplied with pots, pans, glassware and dishes. Great size fridge, oven and microwave. Both bathrooms although clean and functional could do with updating, but not a major issue. I do have a warning for those using the master bedroom upstairs. The corners of the footboard on the bed are sharp and at a lethal angle… within the first 24 hours we had both really hurt our knees/shins walking into them! I resolved the problem by stuffing cushions from the sofa In between the bed frame and the mattress. Just be careful… it’s REALLY sore if you crash into them by accident. Your knees will thank me! We had a great time in Oceanside and the apartment suited us well. If there’s one thing I’d have wished for, it’s some sort of sunshade for the upper balcony area. Otherwise, 10/10!

North Coast Village is an older complex, but well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is very nice as well. This unit was exactly as described and was very clean & comfortable. Great layout, with the master bedroom being by itself on the second level. If you’re wondering about the view from the master bedroom balcony, the balcony is surrounded by a rooftop with solar panels on it. It doesn’t obstruct the view of the water, but isn’t particularly attractive. Also, you will hear the train from time to time, but that did not bother us. The location is great and very walkable. We would stay here again when visiting the San Diego area.

Great condo. Really nice complex close to the beach. Great view from second floor bedroom. Condo was very comfortable and perfect for my birthday weekend at the beach. Had a little trouble finding parking to check in b/c I got there just before 3pm and all available slots were occupied by work trucks - they were doing repair and maintenance at the front of the complex. Ended up paying for parking in the public lot across the street - $5 so not horrible. Grounds were beautiful and pool looked good too but didn’t go in on this visit. Overall great weekend and would rent again!

This property makes you feel like you are on a tropical island! We loved how close we were to everything. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The condo worked perfectly for our family. We loved sitting on the rooftop watching the sunset. We will be back FOR SURE!

We enjoyed our days. Quiet spot. Updating could be done for sure but overall very comfortable. Our weather was not good, but we rallied. A few things to think about, kleenex, coffee upon arrival, how about a few bags, suran wrap or tin foil? How about shampoo, or a few bath items. There was shower soap but no hand washing soap? We tried to use the gas grills on the property, but only one burner on each grill would turn on. They were clean, but now we know why. Overall good spot, easy in and out. The communication with the rental company A+. Great job. We came to see family and the weather was tough, but fun was had by all. Thank you.

This is a great place to stay. It was fun watching the surfers every morning from the balcony. The condo it very clean and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. We came in December and so after swimming in the ocean we would warm up at the hot tub. The village has fun paths that are easy to navigate to the pool or the ocean. This location is amazing too! We were able to walk to the Marina for a sailboat ride and eat a Joe's Crabshack afterwards. We also drove the little way to Seaworld and Zoo. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Oceanside. It is easy to check in and checkout. You have the best of all worlds right here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the most part it was good. It was nice to have storage containers available in the kitchen for leftovers. However, it would have been nice to have a few spices and cooking oil/spray for preparing meals. It would also be helpful if there would have been liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the bathrooms. Most properties have those. The property itself was very nice and well maintained. However, the elevator was often times very busy and wait times were often very long. It would also have been easier if the laundry was either coin or debit card friendly. Getting the app for very inconvenient. It would have also been nice if there were more sand washing stations on the property for cleaning off sand. The location was nice, but having the train so close was very loud, especially in the middle of the night.

First the grounds at North Coast Village are amazing. Beautiful, well cared for, and a joy to be in. The unit that we stayed in however, left much to be desired. It was not very clean. There were water spots all over the facets, the curtain rod in the upstairs bathroom was rusted. Several dishes were dirty. There was a stain on the carpet upstairs. All of the screens have holes, tears or do not fit properly allowing bugs inside (we would wake with several bites each morning). As there is no air conditioning this is an issue as the unit gets VERY HOT in the afternoon (especially upstairs). Of the three fans provided to help with heat, two were covered in thick dust and the clean one did not work. The screen door downstairs did not close all the way (it is supposed to lock in but it is bent so it does not fit properly anymore). The upstairs bed is extremely uncomfortable and sags on the side facing the view of the ocean. The kids liked the beds in their rooms. Lastly, this unit is in the back of the complex right next to train tracks which run into late evening (one woke us up around midnight). Again, closing the doors and windows is not ideal due to heat, but the trains are VERY LOUD. Again, the grounds are amazing and give you wonderful access to the beach. But I would go with another unit.

We loved the fully stocked open kitchen. We appreciated that it didn't take long to get to the beach. The pools were enjoyable. The unit was warm and the coastal breezes did not reach it. We definitely used the fans provided. We had a great stay.

I stayed with my wife and three teenage kids for two nights in August as part of a road trip vacation to Las Vegas, Anaheim, Pasadena and Oceanside. We stayed in many hotels, and our stay here was my favorite. It's clean, well appointed, and with 3 huge beds we had plenty of space to stretch out. There is NOT air conditioning, but being so close to the water once we got the windows open and the fans going it was comfortable quickly. We got checked in by "Officer Diane" at the security office, who gave us our keys, a map of the facility and directions for parking. Diane was super-personable and professional, very matter-of-fact but still easy-going. I recall many reviewers complaining about tight parking. I had a giant SUV for my rental car and brought it up to her. She assured me I could park in the entry lot as long as it moved occasionally. The parking garage would have been fine for anything shorter than 6.5 feet. Pool facilities were clean and spacious; neighbors seem sensitive to noise. The complex is secure and adjacent to the beach. Our unit was on the top floor of the building furthest from the water, but still had a great view of the horizon and dazzling sunsets on the water. By the way, Oceanside and nearby Mirimar MCAB is where they filmed many scenes from the original Top Gun. "Charlie's Cottage" is renovated and preserved as an ice cream shop along the waterfront not far from here, complete with a replica of Maverick's Kawasaki out front. It's about 30 minutes from San Diego, 10 minutes from LegoLand, and just a pleasure to stay at. All in all, I would have stayed here much longer if I could have.

Everything was great. Upstairs was really hot especially in afternoon. Didn’t realize it was facing that way when booked. But cooled off nicely at night and was great in the morning. Thanks for having the fans. Enjoyed our visit

Over all experience was great. Only bad thing was, the condo came with 2 spaces and the second space , vehicle had to move every 24 hours which was annoying and stupid. Forgot one day to move and they gave out a $50.00 ticket. When condo says they have 2 spaces then it should have 2 assigned spaces.

We parked in the units reserved, indoor garage, and walked up the beach, or over the bridge to access everything. From an amazing musical at a refurbished theatre down the street, amazing restaurants, and what felt like our own private stretch of beach, we barely had time to enjoy all the amenities provided within the gated complex. We will definitely return.
