Parking is beyond tight and highly not recommended for anything larger than a small car. There is no number on the apartment door Stained carpet Need a better bathroom soap dispenser Sound carries when there’s no doors. Powdered creamer would be a nice addition to the coffee nook. I was confused when I booked that another company other than booking.com was communicating with me about payment. I think something was preventing me from paying with booking.com and so I kept getting messages about my credit card number not working. The message was not from Sure Home Stays but from I think Charge Matic. I wasn’t sure if maybe it was a scam because there were not many details but wanted me to click a link. I finally figured out it wasn’t a scam. When I updated it still did not work. It wasn’t until I finally did all the extensive check in procedures with Sure Home Stays that it would work. They ask for a ton of info including multiple ids and a photo.

They advertise no prepayment required however they DO charge you for everything up front. As well there is now a $500 damage deposit that they CHARGE not hold then refund you after your stay. The check in process is terrible, I order to get access to the underground parking g you need to find street parking then go up to the suite then go back down. I adjusted my dates prior to the cancellation date and I was not refunded the amount of the nights I didn’t stay. the owners were completely unreasonable and wouldn’t assist in any way. I was overcharged and the owners kept directing me to booking.com.

The location was ideal and very convenient to everything also very safe and secure.

The location of the place is central. Close to all the nice places. It also includes underground parking and a nice rooftop (though not as nice as in the photos). And the usable gym. The unit would be decent if it was better managed (and cleaned).

The place looks like a CSI crime scene - red stains on the floor and white stains on the pillows (I attached some photos so you can judge for yourself). Nobody cleans this place. The surfaces were dirty, and I had to spend my time cleaning them from hair and grease. There were a lot of things broken, including the thermostat. We had to use the stove to keep warm. I reached out to the property manager, hoping they could fix the problems, but they refused to help. The provided phone number shows a BC area code, so I assume a place in Winnipeg is an afterthought for them. For the cleaning issue, they refused because I did not contact them at the declared check-in time (we arrived late, and I called them the next morning as I was tired and did not see how dirty the place was when we first arrived). For the thermostat issue, first, the management sent me an instruction booklet telling me to read it. After reading it and sending them a video proving it was broken, they said they'd try to send someone to fix it, but no one ever came. I tried getting Booking.com to do something about it, but they just wrote a message asking the host to fix it. And then they said the host was not answering and there was nothing they could do. The only thing I could do was write a review warning others. They couldn't refund the money either. So think twice before booking this place; if something goes wrong, Booking.com will not do anything.

Great central location - felt very secure and safe. Spacious apartment and well appointed. A very comfortable place for us to be centred at during our stay in Winnipeg.

The entry process was a little complicated but the related safety and security put in place because of this was worth it. The parking garage was a little challenging to manoeuvre within, but everything worked out!
