We stayed for 3 nights at moose view in August. The unit was very clean and inviting. It had nice decorations and had a lot of nice amenities that help make a stay perfect. The location is on the hill with the most wonderful view of the spit, katchemak bay and state park. We really enjoyed our stay here and was our favorite in our 2 week Alaska trip.

Not 1 complaint. Clean, easy to communicate with, excellnt view and awesome banana nut bread on arrival. Saw a mama moose with her baby out the back window and a rabbit. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Property was just as described. We loved our time there. Great view of the Spit from the large windows. Host gave wonderful suggestions as to where/when to see wildlife close to the property and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again!

Another property we booked ended up being canceled by the host due to necessary home repairs so we rebooked here and we couldn't have been happier! A true blessing in disguise. The view from this property is everything the ad says and more. This home has the best furnishings and accessories. I highly recommend it!

My husband, son and I recently stayed at this property in Homer and it was one of our favorite accommodations during our two-week trip throughout Alaska. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well-appointed with the basics as well as extras like sleeping masks and fresh baked banana bread for our morning coffee when we first arrived. Perhaps the best feature though was the fantastic view of Kachemak Bay we were treated to out our front window. We were even treated to a moose visit early one morning by a mama and her calf that we watched just outside the panoramic window. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone with a family, or simply a couple stay.

We had a great stay at this apartment in Homer. The views are just amazing. We had a note and delicious banana nut bread waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment is in mint condition with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again. We made some great memories in Homer. Thank you for sharing your place with us, Tanya!

Check in process super easy. Everything was clean and inviting. The banana bread was a nice touch and super delicious! Our boys loved it too! The decor was fantastic down to the wildlife plates. We got to see a mama and baby moose thanks to the owner messaging to say they were outside. We wished our stay there was longer. Felt comfortable and made ourselves at home. Highly recommend this place!!!

The views were unmatchable - absolutely breathtaking. The unit was clean and well maintained. Tanya left a sweet card and amazing banana bread! Check in and check out were a breeze. We even watched a moose out of our living room window. She was right in the front yard. Quiet neighborhood and about a 5-7 minute drive to the spit. 10/10 highly recommend.

I'm usually not good at reviewing things so I'll be quite frank. our whole group was equally impressed with the experience of this stay. From the first sight of the view, the spacious atmosphere, the complete coziness whether hanging out together or tucked into the comfy, cozy beds, or back to the view; we were all completely blessed! Thank you for putting much thought and effort into making your guests more than comfortable. PS Love the homemade snack!!

My family has been going to vrbo homes for many years and we all agree this was The BEST. Clean, easy access, easy and friendly check-in, and everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed and cheerful on vacation. The decor is fun, the view is amazing. We are now spoiled.

We were greeted by a moose and her two calves…does it get any better than that? It does…walk into the spotlessly clean house and look out your windows: the most fantastic view possible. This two bedroom VRBO is our all time favorite. When we come back to Homer…we will stay here again. The boat ride (eagles) and flight seeing (bears!) were awesome, too, if you need things to do.

Tanya’s property is the best I have ever stayed in. Property is brand new and in immaculate shape. Views are breathtaking. Hosts are friendly and responsive. the neighbor’s chocolate lab is very friendly - she even brought me her fave toy to play fetch while I was enjoying the view in the garden!

You walk into a living room with a huge wi Dow overlooking the spit. Just sit on the couches and look forever. Everything was perfect, comfortable bed and great banana bread. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay or a better host. Dry friendly folks. I would recommend staying here if you are staying around Homer, I know we will.

My niece and her husband wanted to visit Homer because it’s been my favorite place to visit since I moved here mostly wanted to just walk the beach visit some shops/ galleries and relax this property was easy to get amazing views so we could hang out and gaze out at the magnificent scenery; beds and living room very comfortable. Had everything we needed. I highly recommend it!

Moose View is a fantastic place to stay in Homer. The view is breathtaking. Tanya is a great host. When we arrived we we gifted a loaf of banana bread that was delicious and a nice card welcoming us. Would definitely recommend Moose View to friends.

Wow! What a fantastic apartment!! The stunning view of the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay, and the mountains cannot be beat. You can even see Grewingk Glacier from the house. Incredible. The space was perfectly set up for all of our needs, and Tanya was a fantastic host (that banana bread was a perfect treat!). My son said "I think this is the nicest VRBO we've ever stayed at". 😁Thanks so much for a great stay, Tanya! If we are ever lucky enough to visit Homer again, we will be staying at your place, for sure.

Tanya and Marc’s apt. was exactly as pictured. The views from the front windows were spectacular and breathtaking. It was hard not to
just sit and stare out the windows, which I found myself doing often. The apt. had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable with extra blankets if needed. It was quiet, peaceful and perfect for my time there. If I ever get back to Homer, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Tanya’s thoughtful gift of banana bread was a special surprise. Now if only a moose had wandered through the yard, it would have been even better. Thank you for sharing your special place with me.

We absolutely loved staying here. We’re traveling all over Alaska staying at multiple places and this one blew us away. Clean, quiet, views are amazing, close to the Spit, and pictures do not do it justice. Stay here and we promise you will love it.

Tanya has a cozy well equipped apartment with a full Kitchen and enough room for the five of us. The check in process was as easy as possible.
The apartment is close to the Spit, Supermarket and Restaurants and has fantastic views of the Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit.
Would go back any time.

This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed in!!
Our host Tanya was amazing to work with and very easy to contact. The view from her VRBO was breath taking! I have been visiting Homer Alaska for 30 years and have never seen such amazing view of Homer and the Spit. And if that is not enough you are only 5 minutes away from downtown Homer. The VRBO was emasculate with so many amenities that we all forget when traveling. To top it off the beds were very comfortable, high quality mattresses that I slept great on which is normally not the case. In closing if I could rate this VRBO higher than 5 stars I would! If you are coming to Homer and don’t stay here with Tanya you are crazy! Have a great vacation in Homer Alaska.

This property was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible from the house. There was everything we could need in the home including fully equipped kitchen and laundry.
