Super clean facilities & extremely friendly staff! Good value for money

This place was more appealing than we thought when we first laid eyes on it. The bungalows are not the most modern ones, but comfortable and clean. The pool area looks a bit scruffy, but is actually very nice to hang out. The best thing about this place though is the hostess, who goes out of her way to arrange anything you ask her, extremely friendly and very helpful!

The could use new bathrooms and maybe a spray of paint here an there.

I loved that you were close to the main town but also not in it. It was super convenient in terms of exploring the island and getting around. Bobby and Wayan were exceptional hosts. They went out of their way to help us organize scooters, gave us great advice on restaurants & helped us get to and from the port. Definitely recommend!

The host Waya was very kind. She also gave us scooter for rental at a decent price- IDR 85k for 24 hours. She also allowed us to check out a little late at no additional cost.

Great and helpful staff, they arranged everything for us tickets, taxi, motorbike etc. Room was cleaned everyday. Property and room was clean, beds were comfy. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Wayaan and Bobby.

No exhaust in the washroom.

Amazing staff, very polite. The pool isn't big but it's very good. The place have numerous restaurant nearby. Breakfast was okay, room was clean and bed was comfortable, bathroom was good. For the price we paid this deserve a 10/10

Air conditioner was a little bit too noisy.

Everything was perfect. They arranged us the driver for the port, helped us with the bike rental. The breakfast was good, very clean and comfortable houses. can’t complain, we had a great stay!

What an amazing host! She couldn’t do enough for you - arranging boat tickets, bike rental, manta trips, taxis, laundry and so on! Superb service. Breakfast made to order. Basic refreshments available to buy on site (water, juice, milk etc). Air conditioning was quiet and effective.

Not a fault of the property, but just a heads up. Like most places around the island cockerels and dogs like to rise early, so pack some ear buds!

Beautiful bungalow with a heated swimming pool. Very clean. Breakfast is super delicious. Place in next to the main road but hidden enough that you relax and don’t hear any noise of cars and so on. 10 min from the harbor. Owners are extremely lovely, sweet and helpful with anything… it’s a place to come back. I wished I could stay there longer ❤️

The staff was really helpful and friendly. They have a heated pool. Just the right temperature to relax. They have and give you a lot of information what to do in the area. The room is basic but have everything you need and it's clean.

I stayed here in May 2019 and it was fabulous! There have been many improvements since, and this place is even more amazing now. My first priority is safety, so I am very happy the bungalows are gated and there is someone to watch who is coming and going. The owner, Boby, is so friendly and makes the BEST banana pancakes in all of Bali. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The pool area is also beautiful, as you can see in the picture. I wish I had more time to get a massage by the pool. There was a birthday group, and it was fun to see the four women get massages by the pool. They looked so happy! Dagan Bungalows is toward the middle of the island, and it will take a bit of time to get to different areas, so this worked well for me because I wanted to see different sides of Penida. Boby arranged a great scooter driver for me to get to all the sights I wanted. He even knew the best times to go and was very safe on the small roads. (MUCH better to hire a driver than try to navigate Nusa Penida and you can also see the beautiful views of the island.) There were places I wanted to go and didn't have names, but he figured out where it was, and I got to see everything! I can hardly wait to return again!

A very welcoming and warm family runs this accommodation. They are helpful in arranging everything; boat tickets, sightseeing, snorkeling, scooters etc. The room was clean, breakfast was nice and you can ask for anything that you might need. Location is close to the main road, so you can drive anywhere with ease. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed stay

Amazing host that will go the extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The location is also great, only 10mn ride to Crystal Bay and the harbor. Definitely recommend this place.

Quite noisy at night and early morning

We had an awesome stay at Dagan Bungalows. From the time we booked the owners were in contact with us (via whatsapp) and were SO helpful. They booked us the fast boat from Sanur, booked us a private snorkel tour (we snorkelled with manta rays), hired a scooter for our whole stay, helped arrange the fast boat to Lembongan at the end of stay, etc. Just ask them to help with anything and they will arrange it for you. Comfy beds, great aircon, nice pool, clean, etc. Breakfast was okay. Is a smaller place, not for families - is for couples or 2 people travelling together. This makes it quiet. Owners are always around and available for advice or help. They recommended a small restaurant called "Father Field Bistro" which is 2mins walk away. Awesome place (see Trip Advisor), we ate here a few times! . Would stay at Dagan Bungalows again!

Not really anything, but to be picky, maybe a small bar fridge in the room would be good for water or drinks. However, they will sell you water or beers for less than the shop on the corner which is 50m away.

The service and the kindness was extraordinary, the room and the breakfast was good! And the location is not that far from the harbour, definitely one of the best stay in Penida

Loved this place! The lady who runs it is super friendly and happy to help organise transport or whatever you may need during your stay. They also have scooters which you can rent to get around thethe island. It's not on main street of the island but only takes about 10min to drive there and about 30min to Broken beach and Angels billabong (Kelinking beach is in the same direction). Rooms were really clean and comfy and you actually got good hot water shower as well. Nice clean pool and tasty pancakes in the morning! It's a pretty new place so everything is nice and shiny. There's also a super good bistro (called Father Field) about 100m from the hotel which you should definitely check out if staying here!

I really liked the accommodation and the fact that I could take my doggie with me. 😊
