The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the bellman. The whiskey tasting was a nice surprise!
the step up to the bathroom has black tile and I tripped on it multiple times. Maybe something reflective here instead of black.

The staff wa a delight, starting with their personal text messages to the time I departed with everyone bidding myself and my two dogs safe travels.

Top Lage und sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal.
Das kleine aber feine „Snackfrühstück“ passt perfekt zum historischen Hotel und ist ausreichend
Housekeeping nur auf Abruf ohne Regelmässigkeit

Location was perfect. Nostalgic hotel. Bourbon tasting was really great.
Room was very dark and a little worn.

Beautiful historical property, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly staff and convenient location.

Historic
Room service was full meals, not even a club sandwich for later arrivals

The excellent staff and the historic building. Room size was generous for a typical city hotel. The location was also a plus. I was unable to take advantage of some of the extra services, e.g., the spa, etc., but appreciate that these services are available.
The rather exorbitant parking fee per day (twice as much as I pay in, e.g., Philadelphia), and the cost for the room, which exceeded by several hundred dollars the costs for a room of comparable quality in some of New York City's hotels.

There was a mouse in my room. I did not like this. The management did not seem in a rush to assist to eradicate, nor did they seem to value me or my concerns. I had to seek the manager out to request compensations to my stay charges.
The valet staff was quite pleasant and prompt.
MICE! Not enough front desk staff leads to long wait times to check-in, check-out, or gain simple assistance to questions. The hotel smelled dingy, perhaps mold. I realize it is an old (historic) building. When I sought out the manager (the next morning after discovering the mouse in my room), her consolation statement to me was the excuse that the building is old and pests like this are expected. Made me wonder what the health department would think about the establishment serving food with rodents occupying the space simultaneously. Also, over the niced

Beautiful location with many restaurants, bars and Coors field In walking distance. Our bed was very comfortable and clean and discounts to the adjoining restaurants.

good location in central Denver, easy to walk around to other places.
quite expensive - spa was not open.

The hotel was built in 1891 and has all the style to reflect the time period. There is a canary, Florence, in the lobby. The key is actually a key. The rooms have high ceilings with very comfortable beds, great linens and towels. The location is amazing - right by Union Station so easy to catch the train to and from the airport. Staff were beyond gracious and so friendly!
Missed having a vending machine for diet coke but really appreciated the free water bottles!

The Oxford has long been a favorite of mine in Denver. Charming rooms, a cocktail bar of renown, great location that's close to everything interesting downtown

Good location - not very clean.
Needs a major update. Staff are very nice but not up to snuff for the price.

The property is located next to Union station, restaurant, shopping center, it is so convenient to go out eating and walk around downtown area.
The property is a little old, other than that there is nothing I don’t like the property.

The hotel has been beautifully preserved and styled. Our large king room was well appointed with cozy robes, quality linens, and excellent water pressure in the shower. The continental breakfast was a lovely perk. The staff was great, helping us with all of our luggage and car needs. Plus an excellent location!
Our room was facing the busy street, so the street sweeper and motorcycles were audible.

beautiful building, great location, great staff
Upgrade was not worth it. Tv was in a strange location, wouldn’t have been able to watch comfortably. No fridge. Outdated Tub. Breakfast had too little options. Price/value didn’t match.

I loved the vintage feel and loved the original key idea too.
More Valet room outside would be nice and better signage. Hotel restaurant to stay open longer on local event nights. ie. Avalanche game Saturday

The location of the hotel cannot be beat! The large room size, comfortable beds and instant hot water and great pressure in shower! Also, the amenities are top notch: free waters and nightly bourbon tastings, tasty continental breakfast and complimentary local car service!
small bathroom sink, no mini fridge.

A block from Union Station, ease from and to airport. Many restaurants nearby.
I was not aware of “Resort Fees”. No mini fridge in room.

I was in Denver for work and booked my stay at the last minute through Booking.com. When I arrived to the hotel I was told the reservation hadn't gone through because it takes a day or two to process and the hotel was at capacity due to a large event in town. Nonetheless, the hotel finagled a room and honored the reservation, and I am deeply appreciative of the staff who worked hard to accommodate me! Beautiful building and rooms, wonderful relaxing lobby, and beyond exceptional staff. I stayed here because it was the only option I could find, but I will absolutely stay here again. I definitely want to check out the spa next time.
The sliders at the restaurant were "meh." No other complaints.

Bed was very comfortable, spacious room, decent bathroom. Reception and spa personnel were professional and welcoming.
Windows were poorly insulated from noise and sound. Woke up each evening from excessive street noise. Staff at Urban Farmer were not particularly friendly.

The staff was definitely the bright spot of the Oxford Hotel, especially Stewart, the Bellman, who was so helpful in all things LoDo. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the time you step into the lobby. The location was perfect, especially if you need to take the train, do a little shopping, walk to Larimer Square or attend a Rockies baseball game or a concert or game at Ball Arena. Continental breakfast buffet was perfect. And we enjoyed dining at the Urban Farmer.
Staying in an historic hotel, you are not going to get a large bathroom, closet, etc. Furniture is arranged to accommodate the room. The shower reminded me of those in Europe--very, very small. Sink in bathroom was tiny. Closet was so small, we had to remove the large ironing board to get our clothes in. And what made us laugh is we had to unscrew one of the bottom posts of the four-post bed to see the TV. The biggest complaint is that the coffee in the morning was always luke warm--had to go next door coffee shop for a hot cup. And, beware, along with all of the other fees, they charge a "historic preservation" fee. Having said all of that, we very much enjoyed our stay, and definitely plan to come back.
