This place hit all the high notes! Proximity to beach and shops/restaurants, comfortable beds, warm and cozy decor, the fluffiest towels, well-stocked kitchen, luxury amenities, rooftop grill/dining area, patio off the kitchen with a full wall of sliding doors to let in all the light, beach gear…this host knows what they’re doing!

We loved our stay in Avila Beach. We’d never been before and the location of this property was amazing - so close to the beach and to all that Avila had to offer. Also an easy trip to SLO and Pismo and Morro Bay - all places we were able to check out while here. Place was very clean and well stocked with all you could need for a stay. Directions and check in were super easy. We left very happy. My only complaint is that there was a lot of construction happening immediately near us (specifically on the roof next door) so sleeping in was not an option. Fortunately, we have young kids and are up early anyway so it didn’t matter a ton, but it was still a nuisance. Noise started at 7am during the week, and it was consistent all morning and very loud. I realize this isn’t the rental’s fault and we booked ages ago, so we can’t blame anyone, really! But it would have just been nice to get a heads up in advance. So maybe ask about nearby construction in advance!

Well kept, clean, pretty outside fire pit and sectional. No condiments but coffee, a little salt and pepper. Ice machine in fridge broken but amazingly close to beautiful Avila.

The property was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to hear the waves of the ocean from the patio off the kitchen. It was a very quick and easy walk to the beach. It was also very convenient and nice that our pack-n-play fit easily in the master bedroom. The bunk room was great for our older 2 kids. We would definitely come back.

Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is perfect for those wanting to go to the shops, the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, anything on front street. Loved the outdoor seating, where we were most of the time. We brought our almost 2 year old who is on the go, and 99% of the homes there are 2-3 stories so be aware of the stairs, we brought a baby gate we could transfer between stair cases, unfortunately didn’t fit on the roof so we stayed on second floor majority of the time. The house was great overall!

Cons: Entry is complicated - need different codes for garage, house, and multiple gates; Deck furniture is old and stained, bbq and dishwasher need replacing (and hence, dishes were dirty and bbq barely works). Needs updating, especially at cost point.

Everything was great. As described and what we expected. Close to everything you want in Avila Beach. Nicely laid out house, clean and easy to get in and out.
