This is an extremely comfortable living space with attention to detail to enable comfort. The decor is 'puffy boudoir' and fulfills the needs of any holiday maker or couple wishing to explore the surrounding sights.
Easy access to clay mine walks and to Charlestown on foot (latter a 2km walk but you are straight on to coast, beaches and coastal walks). Town is around 1km away. Shops are nearby.
Extremely comfortable double bed.

Shabby Shack was exactly as described. Very unique. The location was perfect for us within easy reach of town centre. Plenty of tea & coffee in room plus a pint of milk in fridge on our arrival. Very clean, plenty of towels. Overall very happy, lovely place.

The location suited us, away from the town centre. We very much liked the overall theme of the decor and appliances.
Excellent shower.
The food items left in the fridge was a nice touch.
Driving from the premises out onto the road was a bit difficult, owing to the restricted view.

Amazing accommodation

Lovely stay at the shack, everything you could possibly need and the bed was SO comfortable
It was quite cold - bear in mind it's a converted garage space - but the space heater warmed it up quickly. Also note the shower is quite narrow, to be aware of if you're on the larger side.

The arrival was made really easy and we were made very welcome. The photos don't do it justice and so we were very pleased with the decor and comfort of the place. It was a perfect place to stay for visiting locally and with all the facilities we could need. There were lots of little treats and snacks made available, and with the use of a mini kitchen and fridge!

Everything about shabby shack was exceptional, from the style, well equipped, comfy bed, location and welcome pack.

I liked everything about this booking especially the host! As I was travelling on my own I had some lovely chats and some much needed help from the host.
There was nothing to not like!

very pretty holiday let a lot of thought had gone in to the decor the host was lovely she provided a welcome pack very generous bread croissants tea coffee biscuits etc
didn't like a curtain over the bathroom no privacy when using the toilet also no TV I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV but we were further from pub and restaurants than we thought so we took the car to Charlestown which was so lovely but too far to walk so we returned early in the evening and a TV would have been nice.

Lovely, well thought out design. Great facilities, really comfy bed.
The only thing I’d say is that if you’re on the bigger side, you might struggle to use the shower! But it’s extremely well designed for its size.

The location was excellent, short drives to places we wanted to visit
An outside space & perhaps somewhere to cook?

Everything was great! Gina was so attentive and easy to talk to! She provided us with a few things in the fridge which was a lovely gesture. Shampoo and other toiletries were also provided. The place was tidy, so well decorated and homely, its the little things that you wpuldnt think of that Gina did. The bed was honestly the most comfortable thing and was exactly what was needed after a 5hour journey.
Thankyou Gina! Hopefully we can arrange to come and see you again soon!

Shabby shack was spotless, smelt divine and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay in Cornwall. We were so close to the Eden Project which was our main reason for visiting but it was also a great place to stay with good public transport access to other local areas. Gina the owner was also fantastic and made us feel so welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the attention to detail (and the wine!) was outstanding. We will 100% be back.
Faultless. Shabby Shack was everything we hoped it would be and more.

Shabby Shack was one of the main highlights of the holiday. Access was very straight forward and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The place is beautifully decorated and the host kindly added special touches, such as milk etc which made our short journey so much easier. Gina was absolutely lovely and I knew if there was any issues they could easily be resolved, however we experienced nothing but pleasure when being there.
There was nothing not too like.

Loved the Retro feel and it was a great location and base for where we needed to be for The Lost Gardens Of Heligan and The Eden Project.
Thank you xx
Nothing to dislike....it was all great xx

It's self catering but the host leaves a croissant butter and jam in the fridge for the first morning and bread in the freezer plus milk tea coffee and some wine as a welcome pack.

Comfy bed. Lovely decor. Nice to see that Gina had taken the time to place a welcome pack of goodies in the fridge such as water, wine, croissants and spread, jams and bread as well as the usual expected tea and coffee. Plus, free WiFi.

A super studio style property, converted recently and decorated very much in the style of Cath Kidston. Very comfortable bed. Owner couldn’t be more helpful - even reacting to feedback during my stay (providing a sheet for the bed instead of the duvet due to the hot weather). The host also has plans to make some further improvements. Good location for exploring that part of south Cornwall. Would definitely stay again.
The property would benefit from the addition of a microwave (or small stove) in addition to kettle and toaster.

Beautiful property, lovely host, excellent location
Can’t say anything at all!
