Quiet, clean, nice cottage

Too far away from anything. Even restaurants were 15 minutes away.

Idyllic is the best way to describe the location of Rosemarie's cottage! And friendliest host on the planet is the best way to describe Rosemarie! We would come back to stay at the Willow Country Cottage just to visit with Rosemarie because of her warmth, congeniality and willingness to help us with any questions we had. She was in constant communication regarding things to do, restaurants to visit and making sure we had the best possible time during our three-night stay. My 84-year-old mom was traveling with us, and Rosemarie made her feel like royalty. The property is a house nestled on a quiet country road in the middle of cow country, 20 minutes from Killarney. We woke up to 30 cows grazing 15 feet from our back door. The house is comfy, warm and much larger than it looks from the outside. Rosemarie walked us through the property making sure we understood where everything was and how to use it. Beds were comfy, shower was hot with good pressure and the kitchen had everything you need to live there full time. This is a six-star property run by a 10-star host. Highly recommended!

It was perfect in every way!

We had full house at our disposal. It had a brand new interior and was very comfortable. House is located in a very quite and picturesque place and we'd definitely stayed longer if our schedule was not so busy. Hosts were very welcoming too. They met us to handover the key and show us around, gave us few advices about local shops and bars and then we were left by ourselves to enjoy this fantastic place. Highly recommended.

Lovely decor, well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds. Fabulous views and quiet location. Rosemarie was a fantastic host.

The cottage is in a very peaceful countryside location. The cottage itself is fantastic– It has all mod cons, is spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and has everything you would need for a relaxing self catering holiday. There is also a very good quality WiFi connection available, so would be suitable to work from home if needed. There is also an outdoor seating area with a barbecue – Really nice to sit outside when the weather is good and just enjoy the peace, quiet and lovely green scenery surrounding the cottage. Very nice also to go for a walk down the scenic boreen that leads to the cottage The cottage is wonderfully secluded. At the same time, its not too far from Killarney and all the wonderful scenic attractions that Kerry has to offer. In my opinion, the cottage is highly suitable to use as a base to explore Kerry from. Nearest shop (SuperValu) is less than 10 minutes drive away. Rosemarie is an excellent, attentive host and such a nice person – She really went above and beyond in helping us during our stay . Rosemarie brought us over tasty toasted sandwiches and home made soda bread on the evening we arrived because the local shop had already closed by the time we got there. She provided outstanding suggestions on places to visit in Kerry based on our interests throughout our stay, and also drove us to and from the hospital after I suffered an ankle injury hiking on Torc mountain. I’m so grateful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely hope to come back again in future. Overall the cottage is exceptionally good value. Highly recommended!

Location: Idyllically peaceful location in itself and also a great central base from which to explore Kerry. House: Lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated and contained every home comfort. Our teenagers loved that it had excellent wi fi too. Host: Top marks, available if needed and very helpful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we will return again in the future

The Cottage is fantastic. The building retains its charming character while also being wonderfully furnished with everything a modern home needs. The host is exceedingly helpful and kind we were given excellent advice on places to visit in Killarney and our stay was made all the more enjoyable as a result. The Cottage is really good value for money being less than 20 minutes from Killarney you can enjoy everything this beautiful part of the world has to offer without without the premium price tag. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer and I definitely hope to visit again in the future.

Rosemarie was an excellent host and she couldn't do more for us during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and was lovely and quiet. Would highly recommend a stay in Willow Country Cottage and as a family we hope to return one day.

Stunning cottage with all mod cons, everything you could possible need, as a family of 5 we were all very happy here, good location too, nestled in the countryside but yet still not far from tralee and killarney, host was brilliant, very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this cottage for your holiday, and I will definitely go back again

The location was great if your looking for a peaceful stay with your family or golfing trip with friends this is the place also great hospitality from the hosts and the house is spotless. Would definitely recommend.
