Breakfast was outstanding! Always a plate of fruit and fruit juice along with your choice of several options.
Location is a bit out of the way and seemed hard for the boda and taxi drivers to find, but it's also very nice to be out of the way - very peaceful and beautiful views!

De service! Top top top!

Breakfast was freshly made to order and very nice

The room and hotel were a total vibe and spotless as well. The English breakfast I had was very tasty and of decent portion size. The staff were extremely helpful with recommendations for getting around Kampala as well as attentive.
I didn't realize the distance from the center of Kampala and was surprised by the lengthy traffic jams and high transport prices.

Beautiful view, small bed and breakfast feel.
Roads were difficult to manage, beds were us comfortably hard.

Spectacular views, attentive staff, lots of space in the rooms, excellent breakfasts. It's a lovely place to stay.
The rooms seem to have been converted from apartments, so there is a rather odd kitchen area that is full of empty cupboards - there are no cooking facilities, crockery or cutlery. It would be nice if there was an option for these rooms to provide self catering.

This is the third time I've stayed at Savannah Suites and everything about the place remains top quality. Staff are helpful and attentive, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the food is excellent and well presented and the pool area inviting. I will certainly stay again (already booked!).
Some construction noise from adjacent properties being built. But the area is lovely so it's not surprising that others want to be there, and the noise wasn't overly intrusive.

The rooms are spacious and very nicely designed. Very comfortable rooms.
Location is not the greatest if you don't have a car and have to rely on public means. But it's not far off the main road.

We received the last minute offer, as the part of Genius 3 status and the discount and the room type was amazing.
Breakfast was miserable. We were served cold breakfast, and quantity and quality were poor. One small sausage per person; when asked for more, we were told yes, but with an additional charge. Another day, the breakfast was served at the small table, and coffee was spilled over the breakfast; when asked for a replacement, we got a baby portion.
Thirdly, although check-out in Uganda was not firm, we were almost expelled from the room at midday since another guest was coming. Fourthly, the access road to this facility looks like a disaster; fifthly, At 11 p.m., it took me a lot of luck to wake up the night guard to open the gate.
All in all, I will not be back.

Second time I've stayed there and I wasn't disappointed, as one sometimes is when returning to somewhere previously enjoyed. The whole place is exceptional - as long as what you're looking for is a small, quiet place in the middle of nowhere.
A lot of noise at night from barking dogs, but I didn't experience that the first time I stayed there so I'm happy to put it down as unfortunate on this occasion. None of the dogs belonged to the hotel so not their fault!

Small boutique hotel, lots of attention to detail. Staff were very eager to please. The view was beautiful.
The pressure on the shower wasn't great, but not the end of the world.

Amazing place near Kampala. Very quiet, in green space surrounded by trees and hills. The room was super clean, super spacy. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast menu was elaborated and the chef was really good.
Nothing negative

It would be very hard to find a better experience than this superb boutique hotel. From every perspective it was exceptional. The food was imaginative and superbly presented - the chef is clearly accomplished - the room extremely confortable and well appointed, the ambience peaceful and welcoming, and the service attentive. Special mention to Florence whose attitude, ability and thoughtfulness were all exemplary.
The hotel is difficult to find being tucked away (that's good!), but it would be helpful if the signs on the approach roads had arrows on them; we went round in circles for quite a while trying to find it!

All the staff were polite and willing to go the extra mile, we were treated with genuine care and respect. Florence is exceptional, she made sure our every need was met with grace and charm. The location is perfect for either Kampala or Entebbe, the room gave us a tranquil night’s sleep and late checkout was very helpful. very much enjoyed the pool which was very clean.
This is a small niggle but the shower whilst lovely and hot once allowing 10 minutes to heat up only has enough hot water for one shower, the water then has to heat up again for a second person.

The pool was very nice.
The bed was the biggest I've ever slept in!
The evening meal was very good.
The girl there was truly lovely.
The TV wasn't working.
The shower went lukewarm after a few minutes. The breakfast (eggs and bacon) wasn't great.
The noise in the morning.

Very nice and accommodating staff. Room was extremely spacious. A nice breakfast was brought up to the bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful views.
Room was a little dated but some of the important things were updated, particularly in the bathroom.

Florence and her Team did welcome us late at night and we had a very comfy bed which was highly appreciated.
The place is a bit outside and up the hill which is good as it's calm and far away from the Kampala madness but on the other hand it might not be the best starting point depending on your itinery. Though it might not be bad when you want to avoid traffic jams.

King Fisher is the best room I have ever stayed in Uganda – and I don’t say that lightly given how extensively I have travelled in the East African region. The room has balcony with a seating area, which also has Panoramic views. The King fisher room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities one needed.
The breakfast has a wide variety of choices that you can make your own preferences: fresh fruits, African tea and my favourite katogo amongst many others like the English breakfast – Bacon, sausages, etc. And it can be served anytime until early afternoon.
The house keeping was also exceptional. The room was cleaned every single day and the lovely white linens replaced quite regularly.
Impeccable customer service skills by the sweet Florence. Wow! A big thank you also to Joan, Catherine with an exquisite smile, Brenda and the chef.
The fact that the hotel is so small makes it very personable and easy to enjoy. It is so tranquil and the aesthetics can’t be beaten. The overall manager – Tellex -, she is up to something brilliant. Well done her!
Nothing to dislike. I LOVED everything!

Wonderful small and cosy hotel which is clean and modern. Personell is extremely friendly. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need.
Very good price for what you get!!!
Great view over the city from the balcony.
We arrived late in the evening and didn't have a hot shower because there was a problem with the heating system. Also the next morning hot water was not available.. the personell was trying to find a solution but at the end the problem couldn't be solved until our departure.
It would have been nice to get at least the drinks reduced from the bill or a small discount but even as we mentioned it the personell reduced.
Super sad if you have a high standard like this and you want your guests to feel comfortable....

A small but great place! Extremely friendly and very helpful staff.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and everything is superbly clean.
Nice meal options, where timings were flexible.
I stayed here with a friend and two kids, we may have been a kind of uncommon guests… But being as nice to the staff as they are makes for a lovely and memorable stay!
The place may be a bit out of the way, but it’s really worth it. Just check out your transport possibilities beforehand and enjoy your stay in Savannah Suites!
A special credit for Florence, she is Hospitality in every vein!
Having to leave..

Food is great, prices fantastic and it is absolutely spotless.
nothing - the best place we have stayed in East Africa (including 2x 5 star resorts. So much so we have changed our plans to return next week!
