Mammoth West 111 Cozy Condo, Just A Short Walk to Canyon Lodge

The condo was also recently upgraded with new carpet throughout the entire upstairs living and dining areas and beautiful custom slate tile work around the fireplace. Just steps to Jacuzzi, it’s perfect for an after ski soak! The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twins, and the upstairs couch is a queen sleeper sofa. Great views of the surrounding forest and is walking distance to Canyon Lodge. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. The condo comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are 15 steps to this unit, 2 levels inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Wireless internet included! Our calendar is updated in real time. PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 some complex facilities and amenities may not be available. These may include but are not limited to: pools, spas, recreation rooms, sauna’s, tennis courts, fitness rooms and public gathering spaces. Joyful
Condo was well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware which I greatly appreciated since we like to eat at home. I had only 2 issues. First is that there are no screens on the sliding doors so we could not enjoy the outside air also the doors don’t have locks. Second I would have liked to have a sponge or handiwipe for the bathrooms so I didn’t have to use one of the washcloths.

Great Location
The location is a 10-minute walk to Canyon Lodge - This is where you can rent gear, take ski lessons, and take the Village Condala to other parts of the town.
The Austrian Hoff Restaurant and bar is a 5-minute walk away and was our evening goto for after-ski drinks and dinner for every night of our stay.
The house was clean and will easily fit 6 adults: 2 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa bed.
The apartment can be a little tricky to find, I recommend using a door-to-door transport service when arriving for the first time (Unless you are driving yourself using google maps).
All in all, we had a great stay and will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip.
Pro-Tip: The apartment is on a slight hill when walking down to Canyon Lodge from the front door - consider walking up the hill to the small car park - you will find steps leading down to the main road - this is a faster and easier walk then taking the main road directly down.

Comfy but minimal extras
Clean, comfortable. I expected this -- there are no laundry machine inside condo or grill. Bring your own al foil, plastic wrap, sheet pans, containers, serving tongs, black pepper, oil, spices.

Great Stay And Close to Mountain!
Easy access into the Condo, very spacious. Suited all of us comfortably. Loved the wood burning fireplace. Very close to Canyon lodge making it almost ski in ski out. Check in and Check out were smooth and simple. Would love to stay again.

Comfortable condo in great location.
Good condo for two couples or a small family. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked (I wish they had larger mugs for morning coffee). I'm a big fan of Mammoth Sierra Reservations.

Really nice .
Nice condo, has everything you need. Seemed like it was updated pretty recently (carpet, bathrooms, kitchen sink, appliances etc). Comfortable beds and sofa. Everything was very clean. We really enjoyed walking to the village every evening (about a 20 min walk)

Mammoth Family Vacation
The condo was warm and very comfortable. Walking distance to Canyon Lodge was key for our group. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our crew, and there was plenty of space to spread out.

Mammoth west 111 12/2017
Definitely warm enough, clean, only 2 firestarters for 3 day stay so if you want to have the fire place going bring your own. Extra sheets and pillows were dirty called a replaced quickly. No spices or pam, etc. so if you plan on cooking bring everything you need except for the pans and silverware. Walking distance to slopes even with sick 8yo. Upstairs sofa bed really uncomfortable.

Everything was as good as expected. It was not our first stay at Mammoth West and hopefully won't be the last. The location is excellent and the price is reasonable. Jacuzzi was good, but a bit too hot. The condo is clean and nice. Internet worked well. The only downside of Mammoth West is that there aren't any 1-bedroom condos. But if your party is more than just a couple, two or more bedrooms will provide all you need to enjoy your stay to lifts.

Everything was great but trash bin from previous stay wasn't emptied prior to our arrival. Twin bed was a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps the mattress is old or too soft.

Awesome
Great location for riding the bike park. Roll downhill to the shuttle in the morning. Finish the day by riding Shotgun or Follow Me home. The condo is very nice, comfortable and clean. The neighbors are very friendly. The pool and hot tub are amazing after a day on the mountain.

Good stay
I like the cabin over all, we have been staying at mammoth West the past 5 years. I would just recommend upgrading the TVs in these cabins. We had a 20" or so tube TV, it's just way too small. 30" or above LCD are very cheap now, last a long time and draw less power than a tube TV, I think it's time to upgrade.

chains required
It would have been appreciated if we were pre-warned by the reservation person that the unit was located up a steep hill and that chains might be required. The roads did not require chains, but to get to our unit and unpack and pack our car we needed chains to get to our unit. This put a damper on our trip.

Location a bit far from town but shuttle service is consistent for the blues festival. Very close to lifts for winter.

Good location, real basic 2 star accomodations
Location is great, near Canyon Lodge, but condo is 1980s with no updates and minimal maintenance. Kitchen and baths with absolute minimum equipment, not even paper towels or blow dryer.

Great stay in a great location
Loved our stay in this roomy condo unit. Everything was in working order and super comfortable. The heated blankets on the beds were a nice touch. Great location too.. short walk to Canyon lodge... and because there was snow on the road we could actually ski back home:)

Mammoth West
My family has been Returning to Mammoth West for many years. The location is unbeatable. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. The units ( we have stayed in many different ones) are all very nice and well appointed. Large hot tub and a sauna room. Washer&dryer available on site. A great value also

This Condo was Mondo!
My Husband and I rented this condo for four nights in June and had a really nice stay. The condo was very clean and much nicer that a hotel. The only issue that came up is the windows in both bedrooms let in a ton of sunlight, so no sleeping in unless you bring sleep masks! I would highly recommend this condo.

my only complaint was there weren't any coffee filters. They're not expensive, but I didn't want to have to buy a packet of 100 when I only needed 4.
