The location is by the beach with a private access to it. The owner stays right below and also has a grocery store. So, you'll be able to buy small things just below.

The apartment is crying for maintenance. One of the AC's was not working, there were termites/cobwebs in the kitchen as a result of which cutlery was not clean. The drainage pipe just below the kitchen sink had a leakage which meant the kitchen was perpetually wet. The shower area was broken and water would leak out of it. The railings outside were rusting so touching them was also a challenge. The gas cylinder was not readily available even though he knew we had a booking for these days It says the villa is in Bentota but it's actually 7 kms away.

I was visiting from Sydney and stayed at this place for one night. This place is good to stay. The host was really helpful and kind.

The place itself is set in a picturesque location adjoining the beach (right front of the beach), with great views from the living room, balcony and the washroom was tidy and super clean. The Villa was located on the First floor. You can walk to the beach and have fun too. We had whole access as we booked entire villa, that included a living space and clean rooms with a nice antique style balcony facing the beach. Special thanks to Mr. Kapila who owned the property and he is super friendly guy and he is always there to answer our calls if we need any support. Place is ideal for group of friends, couples and family 😃. Highly recommended. Thanks again for Mr. Kapila for such a great hospitality. We will definitely come again very soon.
