The location! Location is everything

We love Waikoloa-we’ve never stayed in the Village, so it was fun learning more about this community. We usually stay down closer to the water and while we had a little drive to the beaches, the view is stunning no matter where you look and we just never feel like we get to stay long enough. Hawaii is a beautiful, magical place. We can’t wait to come back!

Master Bedroom has the Japanese size (Tokyo apartment) bathroom/toilettes. I am 160 pounds and barely got through in and out. Glass door stuck and shutter over me. It was great horror movie scene. Garbage disposal did not work the whole stay. Being told maintenance change it with new one but still didn't work. Cockroaches was our permanent guests for 10 days. When leaving spent hour packing make sure did not take some with me in the clothes and suitcase. Not to mention as a result of my booking my loved one has filed for divorce.

The property is comfortable. Location was good for what we wanted to do. Bed was really comfortable. Nice views.

The en-suite bathroom is pretty useless. If it were me, I’d move the entrance of it to the sink area and remove the shower/toilet room door. The space is too tight. You have to get in the shower to close the door. And there is a bad odor from it but that’s probably because it doesn’t get used very much so the “p-traps” don’t get water which would create the odor. I ran the shower to put water in the traps and that helped a lot. We also had to live with cockroaches the entire stay. The staff puts out traps for them. They weren’t really bothersome to me but my husband wasn’t impressed. And The dryer was full of sand!!!

Everything was fantastic! Clean, location, cost was excellent! There were very adequate supplies that we didn’t have to pack. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub!

The place looked old and tired. Everything was dusty and the sofa, bedding and other upholstery needed to be replaced. I feel pretty certain that the only ting to be renovated since the 70's was the kitchen. We chose this place above others because it had a washer/dryer. The dryer was broken and didn't get fixed until the last day. They removed the dial that indicated heat settings :( We couldn't even tell what temperature things were drying at. The place has no AC which we knew, but half of the fans didn't work. Also, so many of the lights were burned out! The pool closest to us was closed for some reason, so we had to walk down to the other pool.

The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were very spacious. Wifi was very fast. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was very quiet.

Parking was extremely tight. We had a larger Sprinter van and it was difficult finding parking spots. None of the spots were designed to fit a full size truck.
