Lake Placid Lodge is a fantastic place to stay, close to the lifts but in Creekside away from the village. We've stayed there before but the particular unit we stayed in (217) was above and beyond. New appliances, a lovely window seat, a fantastic closet organizer, plenty of lighting.... Check in was seamless. My daughter slept on the pull out couch and said it was the comfiest she's slept on.

The heat in the hallways of the building is ridiculously hot. And the hot tub could definitely be hotter. The clothesline pull out thing in the bathroom wouldn't pull out. Small things.

Location was very good and apartment was a good layout

Given it was a 9 star rating, the condo had very little other than the bare basics. No iron or kitchen basics that you’d expect. The fan we found in the wardrobe was covered in dust. Not sure if cupboards were checked during the clean as there were opened items left from previous guests.
