it was hard to get a taxi, the bus only goes once an hour and is often late, and it takes one hour to walk to old town in Kotor. But the host was amazing and very helpful in fixing taxi! it was also beautiful to walk!

The facilities in front of the apartment. Private 'beach' where you can enjoy swimming all the time. The Dali was very friendly and nice.

We stay at Saxo apartments just one night but absolutely loved it.The view from balcony is breathtaking and the apartment is very clean and quiet. You can walk to Kotor old town or 6-7 min taxi ride 3-5€. Dali was really good with communications and gave us lot of recommendations and advice how to make the most out of our stay in Kotor.

The host, Dali, is exceptional; it have been our most delightful interaction during our travels through Montenegro. She has been extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities in the surrounding areas, very communicative and friendly, and she also speaks English extremely well (quite the advantage in the area, since it is not a very common trait in locals). The private beach was one of the main things that we were targeting for our accommodation, and it had been extremely relaxing and probably the hype of our time spent in this country. The waters were extremely clean and calm, the neighbours almost inexistent, the beach was equipped with beach chairs that we could use, and everything was very clean and enjoyable. The beach also came with a cayak that we were able to take for a ride after talking to our host (which was extremely generous to offer us this opportunity) during one of the days we have spent at the beach, which was extremely entertaining as a "not your everyday activity"; we have used it to navigate through the golf to Perast and back, spending quite some time on the calm waters of Kotor. In the garden we could find both a resting area where we could enjoy a cold drink in the evening, and also a place to leave our clothes/towels to dry in the sun, both being extremely appreciated since we had the opportunity to clean some of our clothes/equipment during our stay. Also, the room was fully equipped, a lot of things being available for use, from an electric stove, to a washing machine (which we used for cleaning part of our motorbike equipment) and dishwasher. The old town of Kotor was quite close to the location; we have walked the distance only one time, though, usually going for the taxi or our motorbikes since we did not want to spend much time on the road - I think that we were spending around 20-30m walking to/from Kotor, while the taxi usually took us 5euros to get back home after a day of tourism.

In my opinion, it was the best place to stay in Kotor region, and will definitely look forward to going here again every time we will visit the golf; there was nothing to dislike about the location from our point of view.

The place and the hospitality

BOKKING does not tell us the truth about the price! It was a HIDDEN additional 15 Euro for cleaning and 2 euro city taxes. You didn't publish it and we didn't know until we should pay.

It was absolutely perfect on all criteria. The person working there - Dali - was an absolute legend and very kind and helpful. The rooms, beds, bathroom etc were all spacious and excellent quality. The location is simply unbelievable as you walk out the front door and jump straight into the crystal clear water.

I’d recommend to shut your window at night due to some occasional noise from passing cars.

Amazing hosts who were extremely helpful and kind. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Great location very close to a couple of shops, bakery and restaurants, yet quiet out of the main town of Kotor. It's a lovely walk to Kotor, which took us about an hour.
