we are resting at the PARADOX RESORT PHUKET 5 * hotel (ex. Movenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket) for the third time. My family really likes the residence. Today we arrived at this hotel (booked through booking.com for 10 days). we were told that we will be cleaned 1 time for the entire stay, as we booked through booking.com. Usually when I book through your service there is no difference. Today they tell me that they won’t clean my place, they won’t change towels, they won’t add toilet paper, they won’t take out the garbage ... this was not indicated when booking ...

The property is part of the Paradox Resort, so we were able to use the resort facilities. The residences are in an amazing location right on Karon Beach with incredible views. Super comfy bed and full kitchen. Bathtub had a view over the beach.

The resort is being renovated so check in was a little confusing as the place was empty and had just reopened, however the staff were so kind and accommodating despite all that. The resort is a bit of a ghost town at the moment (as is Karon post covid) but I’m sure it will pick up soon and the vibe will be back.

Great location but name was confusing since it is labelled as the Paradox apartments.

No hot water for the bath. I only booked this place because it had a bath. Having no hot water was a huge disappointment.
