This home was very nice. Those was very clean and organized….. decorated for the area…. Lake home. Although we were only there for 2 days…. The home had games, bicycles, etc. overall very comfortable!

Our stay at the Rock House was very nice! The location was great - walking distance from many eateries and shops and the lake. We felt very safe and were able to lock our car in the garage. The house was very clean and well stocked. We had some cooler days and warmer days and were able to stay comfortable throughout our stay. The house probably wouldn't be great for very tall people since the stairs and upstairs aren't that high. My husband is 5'10" and he banged his head the first time up the stairs but learned to duck after that. We had trouble getting into the house at first but that was just because we didn't understand how the lock worked. We called for help and someone came right away to show us. It was a great place to stay!

Our stay at the Rock House was nothing short of exceptional! The location was perfect to start our daily adventures from. I especially liked that we were able to park our vehicle in the garage and that the house came equipped with a pack n play so I didn’t have to pack my own! The house is clean, well maintained, and we will definitely be coming back!

Staying at the Rock House in Munising, MI for a week was perfect for my husband and I, our daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters. The house was so comfortable, clean, cozy. And the kitchen was so well stocked. The front porch and enclosed back deck and patio were perfect for relaxing! With Rock House located in Munising, we had quick access to all the attractions, beaches, tours and it was wonderful to end each day in a comfortable home with plenty of room! We will return to the Rock House if we return to Munising!

The house was in a great location. It was advertised that it was air conditioned. The entire house did not have air as there were only 2 window units: one downstairs and one in one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom did not have air at all and got quite warm. The furniture and beds were also well worn.

Very clean property. Had everything needed in the kitchen. Nice patio chairs and table. We used the garage nightly and the fire pit a few nights. We walked daily to the pier and around town to the gift shops, hardware, and restaurants. We brought our own kayaks and used them at beaver lake, au train river, and close by on a calm day in Munising bay.we also did some hiking to see some waterfalls and the viewing areas on the pictured rock cliffs. We would definitely stay at the rock house again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this adorable house in downtown Munising! We enjoyed the proximity to everything in town as well as the backyard for late night bonfires. Our dog loved the place too!

We stayed for 5 days and loved our time at this house! We brought a small boat with us and we’re glad we could store it in the garage. The kitchen was stocked well for us to cook our own meals. We loved the location as it was so close to so many restaurants! The beds were comfortable although some of the furniture is well-loved. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the second time we had rented the Rock House, and it was nice to see that it had been upgraded in the past couple of years: a new key pad (instead of a key), and renovated upstairs bathroom. The house was spotless when we arrived.Due to crummy snow conditions, we chose to leave early, since x-c skiing would have been wet and/or icy; we've been traveling to the Munising area for over 20 years, and have never had this problem before. We did hike to Laughing Whitefish Falls, which was lovely. There are lots of dishes, utensils, and linens to use in the kitchen. A nice quantity of bed and bath linens too. It's wonderful to have a garage, though our car wouldn't fit due to the gear pod on the roof; a normal car would not have a problem. Great communication with the folks at the rental agency. One more thing: another review said the house was noisy. In the wintertime, it is NOT. Great location and totally insulated from the outdoors.

This Munising house is very convenient to everything. We were there in late October so it is not clear how quiet it would be at other times. Great stay for us and very quiet. I did report that the house smelled a little like mildew but believe it was going to be addressed by management who responded immediately and offered to move us to another property.

Nice small property right in town close to shops and eating. We enjoyed being able to walk around town eat/ drink and shop. Only drawback for us was the noise from traffic early in the morning- which isn't the property owners fault! We live in a rural home and just aren't used to it. One suggestion we would make is better/ newer mattresses for the beds. I have back issues and this makes sleeping a challenge.
All in all it was clean, nice, close to everything- just what we wanted!

Great Location
We stayed at the rock house as our base for visiting the beautiful areas like - all the local waterfalls, Pictured Rocks (walking distance to tour boat dock) Grand Marais, Tahquamenon Falls & Marquette! Great walking distance Location for Grocery, Restaurants and bars! Had a bonfire for use along with a great front porch and back deck! Everything was wonderful & clean. Our only disappointment was asking for a little later checkout, per their words -making sure you ask the day before- we were declined.
Other than that, all was great!! Would rent again!! Cute place & comfortable beds!

We had a great time! Properties was very clean. The back yard had a deck and fire pit. The front porch was nice for sitting and enjoying views of the lake. They had bicycles for us to use. It is in a great location, walking distance to town.

Our family of 5 had a great stay in Munising at this house. The location to everything in the area couldn’t be better… beautiful beaches, easy hikes, waterfalls and the Pictured Rocks boat tour. If you’re looking for serenity and quiet, this isn’t for you. The house is on the main road with a lot of car and foot traffic. But it was perfect for us to easily enjoy day activities in the area and come back to relax, grab dinner or groceries. The Pictured Rocks cafe and bookstore was great. The house had everything we needed and the property was very clean. Great to have the fenced in back patio for our dogs as well.

Bathrooms wonderful. Cons: no soap or shampoo in showers, the A/C doesn’t not work well with high humidity and heat. One bedroom upstairs has window A/C unit, the other did not and was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Granted, the weather during our stay was extreme. Location is incredible, can walk to everything in town. Basement and laundry facility clean and terrific. Plenty of chairs for outdoor and indoor dining. Almost impossible to find any fault with this lovely home.

The Rock House
The house was fine. The kitchen was modern and had anything you could possibly want to cook with. However, we flew in from California and came with a minimum of clothes. One hour before check in, they called to say the dryer wasn't working. We deliberately rented all places with washers and dryers. We didn't want to spend time in the public laundromat.. Also, we couldn't get the tv to work. THe note said tv on MDM1 and dvd player on HDM2. Nothing was plugged into HDM1. So no tv.
