We enjoyed our stay very much. The casita is a short walk to Gruene. The river is right out back, and everything you need is there. Great communication with Terry and Terry! While everything was wonderful, the cleanliness of the property was something we noticed instantly and made our stay so comfortable!

This was hands down the most clean and organized rental I've ever stayed in. The soft and comfortable bedding, huge beautiful walk-in shower, Right down to the fixtures, everything is top notch quality and nicely done. Our family of four never felt cramped and really enjoyed the golf cart rental which made the scoot into town way more fun. Loved being a one minute drive from downtown Gruene, coffee shops, tons of shopping, Rockin R, etc. The river access out back is a dreamy, relaxing view and a unique spot with a nice yard to camp out for the day. We can't wait to go back next year.

This was hands down the best VRBO my family and I have after stayed at. The owners are amazing people who provided us with a warm welcome and great information on food and shops to hit while staying at the casita. The casita is top-notch and stunning. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The casita is gorgeous and has high-end finishings and decor. The best part is this amazing property is in the most ideal spot for a Gruene, Texas, vacation. The property has the best river location of all the properties that we saw while floating on the river. The casita is located just beyond a rapid, which your kids can walk to and float down over and over, but also has a beach stile entry into the river where swimming is easy! Even better, the property is located so that you can easily (less than 5-7 minutes) walk to all of the charming shops and restaurants in downtown Gruene! My family even walked to the Rockin’ R tube rental to float the river and it was a very easy walk. I cannot say enough great things about this property, its location, and its amazing owners. We are already planning on going back! Book it, you will not regret it!

We took a trip to Texas Hill Country with our sons who are both in college. This was the second part of our trip so we had time to wash clothes and regroup until heading to our third destination. We had a great time at the Casita! It is the perfect location! We were able to take a short walk to downtown Greune. This place is immaculate, the communication with both Terrys was very quick and helpful. It had everything we needed. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and snacks!!!!! The grill worked great and our steaks were perfect. Having river access right behind the Casita was great. Thank you so much for having us!

Terry greeted us upon arrival and went over all the perks of the property! LOVED the short walk to Gruene Hall, shops and eateries. The private river access on the property was amazing too! Cutely decorated casita had ALL the amenities and more! Top notch technology and even house slippers. Lovely place and we will definitely be back!!! 5 stars all around!!!

We booked our trip for a quick little family of four getaway for my husband‘s birthday. This was absolutely perfect and just what we needed. The house was so ideally located just a three minute walk to Gristmill and downtown shops ,coffee, shopping, breakfast and yummy dinners. The house was absolutely immaculate. The pictures online do not do it justice because every little detail is absolutely beautiful clean and well thought out. They had absolutely everything we needed and then some! The beautiful view of the water on the property was gorgeous & we loved all the wildlife, we loved being on the water we loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were. my girls 13 &15 even though are not used to sharing a room really liked the little bunk bedroom. The shower is amazing and now I’m ready to remodel at home. We can’t wait to come back!

The Gruene Livin' Casita was perfect for our family of 4. The casita is easy walking distance from Gruene Hall and had access to the Guadalupe river at the back of the property. Everything was very clean and comfortable with lovely furnishings and thoughtful amenities for the guests! We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly!

We had a wonderful time and the Casita is absolutely fabulous. You could definitely walk to the shops in Gruene. Property was clean, cute and comfortable. Would stay again if we ever visit Gruene again. Terry was the best host.

My Fiancé and had a short stay in Gruene and we chose this property. The Host was very helpful, well before arrival and then throughout the stay. The house was very well appointed, and the host went well above the "standard". There we so many little, well thought out, inclusions, from the Keurig coffee options to the make-up cleaning towelettes. Wi-Fi and TV access were super easy, and the place was spotless...very clean. To fishing out, The Host took it upon himself to use his own car cover to cover my car at 3:00 AM because of hail in the area! Location was a short walk to the central Gruene shopping and music venue areas. Best Rental I ever had!

Couldn’t have asked for anything better! Owners were very nice and hospitable, property was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Great river access, walking distance to Gruene Hall, restaurants and shops. We are already planning a trip back soon!

Been to Gruene TX four times now from Boise ID. First time we stayed a couple nights. Couldn't have picked a better place. Short walk to town, beautiful river access and the home is perfect. If we ever make it back this will be our first pick. Thank you, Terry and Terry. Jeff and Nancy

We had a great time during our visit to Gruene. Terry was a wonderful host. My sister, husband and I took a short trip and stayed at Terry’s Casita. It is located within walking distance to Historic Gruene so you don’t have to worry about parking yet far enough away there was no noise. The beds we’re comfortable, although the bunk beds are better suited for kids than adults. Terry even brought over a bottle of wine and a few beers. If you don’t mind a few stairs, you are able to walk down to the river in his backyard. There is a picnic table there to sit at and enjoy the sound of the river flowing. It’s very peaceful. I highly recommend this place.

The Casita is our favorite vacation rental ever! Terry was very, very helpful. The location was perfect as my niece's wedding was only a mile away. We were also close to all of the fun places in Gruene. The stroll down to the river was so lovely and tranquil. We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning, enjoying the sunrise. Wonderful!

The Casita was perfect for our weekend stay in Gruene. The "2 Terrys" thought of everything possible". The house was immaculate, beds so comfortable, lovely full kitchen with top of the line appliances, complimentary coffee selection and creamers, snacks and many toiletry and cosmetic items provided for guests use. Access to get in house was very easy and Terry came by to show us around and gave us many great restaurant and other local recommendations. We walked everywhere from house...to shopping in Gruene, restaurants to and from Gruene Dance Hall after a show. If the weather would have cooperated we would have taken the outdoor chairs they provided and sat down by or in the river that runs behind the property and grilled out in the provided gas grill. Next time we come to Gruene I sure hope this house is available it was perfect!

My family had a great time on a long weekend in Gruene at this property. The house was very well stocked with what we needed, clean, and comfortable for a family of 4. You can park your car and walk the rest of your stay to local restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, the host gave us excellent recommendations and suggestions for things to do. The house connects to the river, it was a little cold for us to jump in, but we did see a few others and we spent hours playing cards along the river and enjoying the view- overall a great location, great property, and great host.

Anticipated our needs - practical and resourceful amenities! Checked up on us. Gave us local recommendations. Riverfront access is peaceful and pristine. Thank you!

Beautiful place.

I arranged a special Valentine's Day weekend for my babe. Once I booked the stay I was immediately messaged by Terry to make arrangements to make this weekend extra special. Once I arrived, I was immediately introduced by Terry. His hospitality and the casita itself was unmatched. This is definitely a stay to remember and he set the bar for all other rentals! We will definitely be back!

My wife, teenage daughter, and I traveled from out of state and stayed at this house. Terry was excellent and provided us with everything that we needed.. Small details made the difference! The house is in perfect condition, feels brand new. Minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Very short drive into town. The owner checks to see if you need anything, by text, every couple of days, but also gives you your privacy. I highly recommend this home, I will be back!!

We had an amazing stay at the Casita in Gruene, TX. The property was absolutely spotless. We were given a warm welcome by the host, who explained how to use everything and how to get to the deck with an amazing river view. We spent our evenings sitting by the river and enjoying how tranquil it was. We were able to see wild life and take a short walk in the common area. Gruene is such a wonderful place to explore and the Casita is within walking distance of the main market/restaurant area. We hope to return one day soon. This was the best VRBO location where we have stayed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casita and plan to return with our grandkids next summer. The property was exceptional as was the host.
