Great centralized place to stay as far as distance to Jenner and Bodega Bay. Perfect place for our dog with a fenced in backyard and gated wood deck in front. Its a cute, cozy place with everything you need. It is just off a somewhat busy road so there is some noise of vehicles going by.

We went to wine taste and it was really good. Jonathan was responsive and helpful on the 2 occasions we needed help. The addresses are unusual there odd numbers are on both sides of the road! Everything Jonathan did to the place is first class! However in the future we plan to look for another house that gives us more room. Once we put our dogs crate up and tried to put up a pen it was just too crowed.

1. Jonathan communicated with us immediately upon request. 2. Property was extremely well kept and all necessary appliances, utensils, pots and pans were available. 3. 1/2 block walking distance to our favorite since 1969, Burke’s Canoes, and 1 block to Speers Market which has everything you need for your getaway. 4. Wineries and Russian River Pub nearby and the Pacific Ocean 1/2 hour drive to Jenner-by-the-Sea. 5. Many, many memories revisited during our getaway. Thank you Jonathan! Wonderful area for a vacation.

It was a nice cozy place to stay while exploring the local vineyards

This place was perfect for my husband and me (and our dog). It was clean, well stocked, and a reasonable price. We enjoyed exploring some of our host’s recommended spots. There was a little traffic noise from the main road, but not too much.

Had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s cottage with my partner and dog. The cottage was very clean and had all the basics we needed (reliable WiFi, clean towels, hair dryer, coffee, comfortable kitchen for cooking, heater, board games, tv, etc.). The bed & pillows were very comfortable and the unit also has a private backyard! Most importantly, Jonathan was a gracious host and very quick to respond.

Jon’s place was exactly as advertised in the pictures. It was a seamless check in, pristinely kept place with all I needed to call it home for my two nights visiting sweet Forestville/Sebastopol, and very conveniently located just minutes outside of the town. Jon was a wonderful host who paid attention to my inquiries, and made things so easy to just come on in and feel right at home in his space. The kitchen and bathroom had everything needed to feel comfy including (nice) pots, pans, utensils, adorable bowls and plates, a bit of coffee with filters, and even some seasonings for cooking a meal. The bathroom was well equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap which was wonderful. Everything was sparkling clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I got to watch a movie which was nice, and the charming, yet simple outdoor area was an added little plus for stepping out for a breath of fresh air every now and then. Overall, I felt super cozy, cared for, and refreshed during and after my stay which is exactly what I was dreaming of while planning my short lived wine country experience. I rate this adorable spot five stars and a half ( if that’s at all possible). Thanks, Jon, and I’d live to come stay again in the future!
