Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit so we could explore the Sitka National Monument, hike the Indian Creek trail and use it as a fishing base camp. It worked perfectly for our uses. Close to everything we wanted to do yet on a side street so it is very quiet at night. The twin beds are just that Twins. The living area is really huge abd comfortable for 4 people. The pots and pans for the kitchen are alittle rough but got the job done. The unit is up a flight of stairs so you have to lug your stuff up and down. the front window view is of buildings across the street.

Overall our stay was satisfactory & the facility was as expected. However, a couple minor points of 'constructive criticism': - Checkin instructions were not accurate as far as entrance lockbox not in use, combination instead worked on unit door instead of bldg entrance, & combination lock instead of key lock for unit. - No extra tp, only a part roll - No laundry soap although supply list said it was included Again these were minor issues resolved with phone calls but easily resolved with a little mire attention to detail.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had all the things we needed. There is a designated parking spot but it’s also close to everything. My boys loved staying here. We were right next to a coffee shop too which was convenient. We will try and stay here next time we go to Sitka!

Trip went well great communication with host and good location 1/2 block from downtown. Apartment is on second story with only stair access was difficult for someone with bad balance and bad knees… but managed it. The beds were single bed’s pushed together to make them look like a queen as seen in the picture.. the middle of the two bed’s being pushed together was very uncomfortable so if you plan a night with a partner be aware. Otherwise very nice place clean and had everything expected in a furnished apartment. And the hosts are great with communication. I would recommend to young travelers and singles.

Nice location. Walking distance from stores and other places like the beach.
